Here's the Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack Bomber!!! It is the largest combat aircraft in the world! It is some 20% larger than the B1-B!
It is of great quality, except (because of its literally pure white color) it is hard to distinguish its components in the south facing direction. Other than this, this unit is flaweless! I only included a default and a death (taken from an original civ3 unit) animation because the Tu-160 cannot carry missiles, only bombs.

I have decided to flood the units forum with my new units so forgive me!:goodjob:

Here it is:

Excellent work. I have been in need of Russian bombers. :)

(Now if only a Vulcan bomber unit could be made... ho-hum...) ;)

The TU-160 can carry up to 12 Kh-55 long range missiles and Kh-15 short range missiles. The weapons bays can accommodate different loads: carries various bombs: From fee falling nuclear and regular up to 1500 kg bombs.

Yes, But no Air to Air missiles. If a Blackjack is intercepted, it can only rely on its speed (mach 1.88) to survive! It won't shoot a cruise missile at an airplane!!!
Version 2 of the blackjack is coming out soon! It will feature both swept and unswept wing designs! It will also have a unique death animation! I just don't know how to get the whole swing wing thing right, If the default is the unswept wing, and the run is the swept wing, te game alternates between the two on a bombing run!!! I bet I can figure this out, then it would be awesome!

Largest combat aircraft?!?!?!?

Anyone confirm this thing is smaller than a B-52!?!?

Venger

The B-52 has a wing span of 185 feet, a length of 160 feet, and a height of 40 feet. The Tu-160 has a wing span of 183 feet, a length of 177 feet and a height of 43 feet. Clearly the Tu-160 is bigger. The max take-off weight of the B-52 is 488,000 pounds while the Tu-160 is 606,000 pounds!!! Thus making the Tu-160 the largest combat aircraft in the world! It has a top speed of mach 1.88 but has a relatively small payload of 40,000 pounds!
