Okay this is an unusual type. A proto type. Frankly I'm starting to get sick of the international wars and what not. Sending people to their deaths is getting rather boring 
So I was playing Railroad Tycoon (the original) and this gave me the idea of a nes, based on the game.
It may be a bit messy, but I am working on it.
Rules
You start a railroad between two cities next to each other. For the game purposes only the United States will be used.
Each update you will receive credits assigned to the ticket charges you have made for that turn. Sometimes it may be lower, due to the fact that people are not traveling. You will forewarned when this may change by newspapers.
Passangers
Passangers will be pay well. It depends however where they are going. Your prices you set will also come into this. Remember the higher the prices the less chance of passangers you get. The exception to this is luxury status. Remember if you have no competitors, you have a monopoly, but some passangers have price limits
Expansion
To expand your rail network you must have the capital. First off you must approach the mayor of the town you wish to expand too. He will give you a price to build the station. At the same time an Engineer will tell you how much the actual track will take to build. Don't worry there wont be any diffrent track types.
Train types
You can upgrade your train levels to make your journey's faster. The faster the journey the better the price you can charge, with passangers still being happy. To upgrade you level of engines you must spend 200 credits a level.
Car Luxuries
You can upgrade the luxury status of your cars. Each car can hold 20 people. However trains will get slower with each car they pull. On average the best amount of cars will be about 4.
To upgrade luxuries on your train you must spend 100 credits a level.
Stocks
When you start your company you start with 10% of the stocks. Investors start with 90%. With this you can buy your comapny or even better buy someone else out. If you are completly brought out you get your cash and can start a new company thats up to you. The old company will become part of the company that brought it out. Confused? Once a company owns 50% of another comapny they basically tell the other company what to do.
Stock votes
When sellig more stock or having another company try to buy you out, you can have a vote. Everyone who owns stocks votes. Each stock held equals one vote. You have 51% of the stocks you get 51% of the votes. Majority rules.
Units
Train Engine: 500 credits - you need this to conduct routes. One Train engine can do 4 stops a turn in any order. You need to order your timetables every turn for them to actually do something. If there is more than one per a line there is a chance that the trains could crash. They also cost 50 credits a turn to run.
Passanger Car: 100 credits - you need these to take passangers. However they need a train engine to pull the cars.
Conductors: 50 credits These people stop pesky people not paying their fare without them you could find a lot of freeloaders cutting into your profit. One is needed for an entire train.
Train Drivers: 50 Credits You need these guys. Without them you can't drive your trains.
Dining Cars: 300 credits - on a long journey?, happy that you can get something to eat? These places make money for you of those passangers stuck on your train for the next day. They on average make 200 credits a stop. This also gets more people to travel.
Engineers: 100 credits - you need these guys to make the train lines. Without them you can;t make new train lines.
Outlaw: 150 credits - These guys can raid other peoples trains and kill their workers. Must be pmed to me. Wont reveal their source unless they are captured.
Gaurd: 100 credits - These guys protect your trains from player and non player outlaws.
