Not troll, an 'alternate' thread. Having faith in the Tooth Fairy is not something to be ashamed of. I just want proof that it exists and maybe some rambling on why belief is held in the Tooth Fairy... You know, a good discussion.

Actually, being not of Western extraction, what exactly is this Tooth Fairy? Something to do with teeth?

The only proof of the tooth fairy that I can give you is the shiny new "Matchbox" car I got once under my pillow after I put my tooth there.

When you are little and your teeth are comin out, you put them under your pillow. In the morning, there is some small amount of cash there to replace it. Of course it is parents doing this and you eventually grow out of it. Similar to Santa Clause or Easter Bunny. Eventually, you learn it is not real. Kids can get beat up for believing these things too late in life, but Jesus is A-Okay.

In comparing Christ with a fairy, and asking why one is okay to believe in and the other is not, I have received no answer. Not even in JoeM's other 'more acceptably titled' thread. I understand if religous people come to a wall and lose an argument to an 'unbeliever' but this? :shrug: Ah well.

Simple. I stayed up all night with a tooth under my pillow and busted my mom when she came in to put a shiny new penny under my pillow.
Unfortunately, she kept the penny. That was twice my monthly allowance at the time.
