After reading NESes for 6 months and playing in them for 1, I have decided to start my own NES.
ORDERS
Orders must be posted or PMed to me. Stories are optional.
EXPANSION
In this NES, you expand by creating cities. Cities cost 3 credits plus your current income. To create a city, put something like this in your orders: Create Thebes to the North of Memphis.
ECONOMY
Cities generate your income in this NES. For each city you have at the beginning of a turn, you recieve 3 credits.
Wonders
You cannot do anything else the turn you create a wonder. You also do not recieve income. I decide the turns it takes.
TRADE
To set up a trade route, say so in your orders. Trade routes can be created between a capitol and a city(10 gold) or between 2 nations capitals(5 gold for each nation). Trade routes give one income per capitol in the trade route.
MILITARY
Battles are conducted in story NES form.
This is what you can buy in this NES:
Infantry(3 credits)
Good in defense, poor in attack. Consists of 100 clubmen, archers, and spearmen.
Elite Infantry(5 credits)
Excellent in defense, okay in attack. Consists of above, but better trained, and better equipped.
Cavalry(7 credits)
Excellent in attack, poor in defense. Consists of 100 horsemen with spears.
Artillery(3 credits)
Poor in defense and attack, but can bombard. Consists of 10 catapults and support units.
Special Forces(10 credits)
Carry out all unconventional attacks.
Transport Fleet(10 credits)
Can carry 5 divisions. Poor in attack and defense. Includes support units.
Warship(12 credits)
Good in attack, okay in defense. Consists of 1 heavily armed galley. Shallow water only.
Galley(10 credits)
Poor in attack, good in defense. Consists of 1 galley. Shallow water only.
Canoe(5 credits)
Okay against all units, rivers only.
City(Your income per turn + 3 credits)
A city generates 3 income per turn.
Trade Route(See above section on trade)
Generates 1 credit for each player with a capital in the trade route.
UNIQUE UNITS
Create your own unique unit. It may be any unit, but with better stats or decreased cost. It must replace an above unit. You can change your UU at any time.
EDUCATION
This is also done story NES style. Increasing education costs the amount of cities you have times 3. The levels:
1. Huh?
2. Idiotic
3. Ignorant
4. Very Poor
5. Poor
6. Below Average
7. Average
8. Above Average
9. Smart
10. Wise
11. Philosophers
12. Enlightenment

Stone Age: Clubmen, Spearmen, Horsemen
Copper Age: Copper Spears, triremes etc..

NPCs have an invisible army and no nation stats. To join as an NPC, just say so and you will be a nation.
