OOC: I'll be Sweden-Finland, which you've nicely reserved for me. By the way, are we allowed to change our leaders in the story, or will you tell us what's the name of the ruling king? I was just thinking that if it takes place in the early 19th century, I might soon want to change the name of the king, taken that Gustav III ruled 1771-1792.. not that it matters really, but if we are, I would make it follow Sweden's real history in this nes :)

IC:

Gustav III was an old man, and the older he became the more bored he got with his life. How to fill up the empty space in his heart? With wars? Sweden had went through several wars the century before - and suffered greatly from them. It had lost it's superpower status back in 1721 in the Great Northern War, and Gustav III had no intentions of wrecking his nation any more with stupid wars.
But friendships and protection were needed. So, in lack of better things to do, old Gustaf decided to have a few chit-chats with Christian Frederik of Denmark-Norway and Alexander of Russia..

And I'll send orders once my diplo below is answered!

From Gustav III of Sweden

To Norway-Denmark:
Our Nordic brothers, we propose you a trade agreement through land as well as a DPP, so we'd help each other if any nation tried to invade and hurt the Nordic lands!

To Russia:
Our Slavic friends, we know we've been thourgh some helluva wars during the last century, but we believe it's time to put them to a rest. We propose that we start a trade route, and sign a NAP to ensure safety along our borders!

Oh.. and one more OOC QUESTION: Do we BOTH pay for the trade route when making a trade agreement between 2 nations, or is it enough if one party pays for the price of 35 (or 40) gold?

To England and Norway
From Albert Willem Hoeth:
We would like to propose an Alliance. The North Alliance. This would benefit all of us through trade in which we will support each other diplomatically and when one is in trouble. Though one rule must be if one declares war, they must consult the other members of the alliance if they want help (otherwise if they need no help). We would also propose starting trade.

To France and Nation below me (golden)
From Albert Willem Hoeth:
We would like to propose trade and an NAP to go with it.
