Join the Original Never Ending Story...

We have opened two nothing but orginal story nes in SCC which is exactly what nes is supposed to be. It is simply a story that continues and is continued by a couple writers and should never end. Erez, das and I have continued a very good game and are around our 12th chapter, it was first based on the Conquest Game Mesopotamia as Babylon and now stretches to the time period of around 300BC when Rome is fighting Carthage with Alexander the Great, Darius, Hannibal and Ceasar face to face. It is much more fun than I thought.

Das aswell has begun a nes, a REAL nes and is quite different to mine. It seems when world war 1 starts after the Romans invade America, and its on its 4th chapter written by Grandmaster, a_dead_rat and Das. Sounds very interesting.

Anyways, we encourage you to try out the REAL nes and see how it was realy like, and maybe even have a finished product to show off. Play, start a new one, or just read it, whatever.

No 2 NES's are the same,therefore every NES is original...You cannot make a duplicate of the old.

The original means the first one, THE FIRST NES. The way the FIRST nes was. I wasn't here for the first nes, though I read over a couple and learned from the vets. And its what I explained, "no rules, no stats, just story and fun".

you are right, but rules are not always needed. This is for more relaxing, and cooperation. Rules cause fight and flamewars, and less time to to write stories instead of complicated orders.

I soon may open a nes like jnes2 in the future. With just a background, some stats, a couple rules and a map update every day.

Well, the original NES was not based on the fact that each person was a nation. People wrote stories for all the countries. It was a real, true Never Ending Story. However, the game quickly evolved. And yes, if you read it, it starts to be like what you say.

yeah,I was reading one of them...And 5 people were writing different stories for 1 nation...That nation was so scrambled that it's when people started picking nations to be. (I've read quite a few of the old pieces of crap)

Well that happens when someone wants to spoil the game. But that can happen. It would start a twist to the story and make it more interesting to read, dontcha think? Hey, then the next thing that can happen is that Rome traines thousands of Legionars and crumbles the large empire to little pieces and make a Dark Age from not the Roman Empire but the Persian Empire.

As you can see amon, you have made my exact point. The original NES can be very fun.

And amon, in order to make the game flowing, each player has to read the newest story posted, so the players writing for the same nation doesn't change the story line.

And Amon and Stalin, this thread was not here for a debate. It is simply spreading the news of two neses whether you like them both or not. It was not made to debate which type of neses are better, becuase personally I play and like both types.

And amon, it seems every post I make you are trying to contradict it for some reason, CAN YOU STOP TRYING TO STALK ME. PLEASE. Its getting annoying, and I am starting to see who exactly started my flamewars in several neses.... YOU.

Now again, who ever is interested, feel free to try it out. You can never say you dont like it if you never tried it. Becuase I felt the same way to until I started one and tried it, and now I found out how fun it can be.

Anyway, NES is one thing and Never Ending Story is another, like Jason said a year ago or so. I think he is also right that he made the Never Ending Story and I made the NES, (inspired by the Never Ending Story). The point is, both can be fun in their own way.

That is correct. NES has evolved to become a more game style thing. Personally I enjoy the rules because they are a way to play as opposed to a freestyle writing fest. Now Amirsan, I'm getting tired of you saying my favored kind of NES is not as good as your old school NES. It may be to you but if everyone liked it, it wouldnt have evolved into what it is now.

I never said the original nes was better than the current one. I said it was maybe more fun in my opinion. And have SPECIFICALLY said that you may not agree with me, which is totally alright. I am not a vet. And its not MY old school nes. So I am not here to say which is better.

I think you have me mixed up with Uknemesis . I did not create the first Never Ending Story, rather I joined it kinda late . It was Uknemesis who made the first Never Ending Story, and you made the first NES. My first NES was not long after, I think it might have been the third NES (counting UK's as an NES).
