The Great CFC Avatar Switch

One day a while ago this idea came to me, but I shoved it aside until people started talking about "stealing" Perfection's avatars in this thread, at which point I thought, "Why not?"

So here's the plan: After we've got enough participants, we all choose one day (perhaps a week) when we all switch avatars. Perhaps I get Hitro's coat of arms, Hitro gets Curt's skull-face, Curt gets floppa's smug face, floppa gets Puglover's pug, etc. It'll be the most fun thing to happen to me since yesterday!

How about it? Anyone want to join?

Beside each one of these names I will list the person who has chosen to use their avatar. This way two people don't use the same avatar. It's a first come, first serve basis, I suppose. Be sure to post in this thread who you choose, so that I know. PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN RANDOMLY ASSIGNED CAN STILL BE CHOSEN. The point in randomly assigning is that if no one picks them, they still have someone take their avatar.

Also, @ CivCube and bobgote, sorry, but nah, I don't think that'd be as good. @ addiv, sorry, but I like changing to the other user's title/status better.

And @ Elden, RealGoober, Bamspeedy, and Zarn, yeah, good ideas (which I've changed around, a bit). ***This shall be according to GMT time. Start when GMT time reaches NOON of March 31 (or shortly afterwards, if you can't make it), and stop when it reaches NOON of April 2 (or shortly afterwards). This is so that all time zones are included. Anyone who switches to someone's avatar should also use their sig. And below this new sig, be sure to note what's going on (for example, "Note: Systerion's alternate identity" or something) so as not to confuse people too much. Feel free to act like the person you've chosen, but you don't have to, and PLEASE don't do anything that might insult the person. Also, not only use their avatar and sig, but it'd also be a good idea to switch your title/status and location as well. Possibly even your forum style, if you wish.***

I'll do it I need to change my avatar back to the Indian flag though I was feeling kind of Metrosexual.

I suppose I'm better known for the Millard Fillmore avatar than any of my other avatars, none of which I've had for anywhere near as long. I'll post it here if anyone wants to use it.

I'd switch back to it for this event, but I'd have to change my sig too, which I don't have a replacement for. Let's just say that a Whig like Fillmore wouldn't play well with Polk.

that reminds me, while I would be up for this, i dotn knwo what avatar people know me best by, i suppose it would be pirtate jack, of that one centurion ethcing I had for a whiel, or mabey even the red trojan man helmet

It would be funnier if we try to mimic the chosen one's personality as well...

Fun idea, but that could result in hard feelings, so I'll have to label it as a no-no. Edit: Now I'm reconsidering. I suppose it'd be possible for us to keep it civil, and if the mods condone it, I'm all for it.

why not, might be awkward for someone who isn't america/not proud of what it's doing though

EDIT: it will be intesesting to see if people still call us by our avatar's owner name. and when people ask us why we switch, should we tell them? should we put a line in our sigs?
