New Unit; Rifle armed partisan

This is a unit I've been wanting to make for a while, never got the model right though.

This would be a good representaion of the specialy trained partisan units from WWII and later, you may also want to use it to represent paramilitary organisations such as FARC, or the IRA or perhaps as a home guard unit such as the british home guard or german volksturm.

Because of this I have included two civlopedia images, so you can use the same animations for different units.

Goldflash, you can make a unit32 from that picture above by resizing it and changing the background to magenta.

No exactly sure what you mean.

Made the file
Make a zip folder
Put the file in the zip
On the post reply page say "browse..." and select thr zip folder

kulade, the file you uploaded was not a valid .pcx file in the Zip. Here is a units_32.pcx file that can be used for now.

Yeah, Cool Aid. I just never attached a file before but that was what I was thinking was the way.

As for Cool Aid's unit32, its viewable but not openable as a pcx so I just copied the image out of it and pasted it into my unit32 so it looks fine.

Okay now I'm risking being yelled at by Goldflash again but here's some advice for everyone...

The INI file has at least one error in it. It calls for the ArchorVictory and the file is not in the folder and it will crash your game as I just found out the hard way

. Anyways, just copy in that file or put in a victory sound of your own. I got a funky one off the sounds thread which some hysteric scream of some sort. So check the whole ini file for more errors cause I haven't looked it through yet.

The best way to make a units_32 image is to take the first image of the default flic in civ color red, and resize it to fit. This way it will match up with the other units_32 images and will also be civ colored in the build queue.
