TopGun strikes again...
This time around, my intention is not to bring forgotten aircraft back to mind (and Civ-Life), but to encourage our best aircraft unit makers to make Civ-specific units of existing aircraft. (Hi, Ripptide and Wyrmshadow!) :)

The standard early WWII allied fighters...

While the Airacobra already exists (thanks to Wyrm, who made an excellent Russian/Soviet P-39Q), the Hawk 75A does not. But, we have two excellent P-40 Warhawks, which basically are the same airframe, only an inline instead of a radial engine. Therefore, changes should be rather easy to do...

mean allied bomber...

the P-75 Hawk I made for Finland.

Where can I find it? CDG?

Yes, Assorted WW2 aircraft.

new aircraft posted

The B25 has been made already. I know as I just deleted it off my computer today because of a lack of need for it.

Yes but he wants a Portugese version. The B-25 is the Mitchel Medium bomber. You want the B-24 Liberator.

Did the Portugese see combat in World War II? If so, when and where?

No they were neutral. But that didnt stop them from buying war-surplus afterwards or before hostilities started.

Ah. Because I know they fought in the First World war; I have a picture of Portugese trench infantry on a book around here, somewhere.

Yeah, Wyrm and Goldflash... even though the Portuguese were non-combattants during WWII, they still maintained a neat, modern air force.

On another note, I am trying to make Civ as historically accurate as possible. (Yeah, one of these days I will eventually make my own units - when my kids are grown up! LOL) That's why I strongly support Wyrms efforts in making accurate units with actually used markings, camo etc.

Maybe sometime in the future we will have a civ-specific aircraft for all Civs in our mods... ;)

Yeah, I'd really like to see some Historical Sumerian Aircraft  But I know what you mean, TopGun.

Good One, Goldflash!
But seriously... since Sumer/Babylon was located where, today, we have Iraq - there's no reason why we couldn't give Sumer/Babylon aircraft with Iraqi insignia, right?
