I've found El Dorado - apparently, its just outside Madrid :cool:

Rather annoyingly, I had another 25 or so treasures that I couldn't get back in time... :cry:

Treasure, shmeasure. I just won AoD with a 20k cultural victory as England, without delivering a drop. So there.
 
I won it once without building a single city, cultural buildings, wonder, treasure, or tech reseraching. So there :p
 
I won a 20K cultural as the Aztecs, mostly by good luck.

Yes, it is a strategic resource so it can appear somewhere on the map.

@Doc Tsiolkovski: Deity level, eh? I'm impressed. Mine was only Regent. Mind you, I've done something very similar on Monarch recently. Perhaps I should try higher (if I manage it there, I'll know the scenario is too easy... :))
