This is the advanced turret that will be in the Fallout mod. I had a request for its release, so i figured it would not hurt to release just one as a teaser. :D

^A city needs $LINK<iron=GOOD_Iron>, $LINK<fusion batteries=GOOD_Fusion_Batteries> and $LINK<electronics=GOOD_Electronics> in its $LINK<Strategic Resource=GCON_ResourcesS> box to build a popup turret unit.

^These Turrets were examples of lost military technology that was not easily replaced, due to the lost tech after the Great Rain if Fire.

These turrets were nasty, they fired plasma bursts, and had 300 hps. Needless to say they were a pain to kill! :cool:

In case this is what he was asking for i took a screenie of the Turret in the game. :)
Also the preview MC directed you to was made before i figured out how to center the units. They are now all centered. :cool:

That is awesome! I have never played the game Fallout but I think I will play the fallout mod based on the screenshot. It seems to have even changed the graphics of the minimap, info-box thingy (lower right corner), and the buttons at the top! Impressive!

Yea! I have 400 posts!

We are actualy going to change every single piece of art in civ 3. The only thing we will not change is the hard coded stuff. :) What you see is test gfx, but it will be different from the game. We want to maintain the feel and atmosphere of the Fallout games. I have also replaced all the ambient sounds with wavs i combined from the Fallout games. Rattling tin in the wind, wind whistleing through ruins, and more. :D

COOOL. Masive barbarian outburst? Deathclaw what? PUAH! Problem solved:)))))

Try this for an experiment:
use deathclaws with 30% chance convert as deathclaw, and invisibility instead of barbarian horsemen and wolf pack as basic barbarian, while the turret has detect invisible and bombard range 2 with attack animation to bombard and lethal land bombard).
I changed my King to Pipboy just for tha sake of it :) King Pipboy with a minigun, hahaha

It might be big for regular civ, but it is scaled to the infantry in the Fallout mod, and IMHO the vehicles and other large units are too small. :D
