I wouldn't mind Archipelago if the AI had decent naval skills. But it could be interesting nonetheless.

I'll vote 60% Archi though.

We could always set the AI to build more naval units.

Sounds good to me, CT. And provinces would easy to determine, too. Each governor could have his own island. :lol:

That one's going in my quote book! Also remember that 60% archipelago maps do tend to appear as 70% continents sometimes. Only more Civ2 like. (chaotic)

Here's a sample of the worlds. From top to bottom is 60%, 70%, and 80%.

(I feel sorry for those 4 civs in that one 80% tundra start! One of them can't grow (4th row, 3rd one from the left)! :lol:

If we choose random, we would have to start the game not knowing how many civs we would meet early and not knowing what our beginning plans should be. That might make the game more interesting.
