It looks like there may actually be something for the court to consider, so guess I'll go ahead and have a thread.

Hear ye, hear ye, court is in session. All those having business with the court may now approach.

Chief Justance DaveShack, I would like some clairifacation on the rules. In artical O of our great constitution it says the fallowing:
Article O
Treaties and agreements with foreign nations may be ratified by
Fanatica with a poll open for minimum 48 hours. A simple
majority of voters is required to ratify the treaty or agreement.
§1. In matters of extremely urgent national security (ex. impending
invasion), the Administrative Council may chose to sign the treaty,
making it binding for all of Fanatikou. However, the Chief Jutice
would have to verify that is was indeed a matter of extremely
urgent national security.

Does that mean the we need the administrative councle (Minister of Internal, military, and forgien affairs) all need to vote before a matter of emergance treaty making can take place? And does the councle need the JoC's permission before or after the treaty is made? It says was in the constitution so I am gussing that it has to be after?

It seams like it would be a bad Idea to try to get two of the ministers to approve of something in such a samll amount of time. After all, not every minister is always ready to approve or not to approve.

Oops, sorry I missed the previous question. Both of your posts have come on days I was on vacation, and they fell back down the list before I noticed. Time to subscribe to my own threads... ;)

No, that's not an indicator that I take a lot of vacations, just bad timing.

The Civil Court does not seem to function. IMO, the matters can be quickly handled by the Supreme Military Court which is basically a sort of Tribunal. But seriously, can we have at least weekly sessions, Your Honor?

Mr. akots, the constitution says that if the JotC becemes vacent (I think we can kick out Dave right now if we want) then the people elect a new one.

Lets wait for a while, IMHO. May be His Honor will show up and make important decisions. We cannot waste a crucial official just because he is absent from his office for some time. :)
