I took Overseas' mine and rearranged it a bit. The derrick and the building have been reduced in size and the building has been moved to the side of the derrick and I added a couple of pipes coming out of the side of the building. (Download Post#2)

Nice!

I'm probably going to be using the mine derrick without the building in my Final Fantasy mod. I've added a unit called the "Trawler" which is a 0,0,6 sea based work boat available with steam power that has the ability to mine sea and coastal tiles plus transport foot units (but it CAN be captured by enemy ships). The derrick would look good as a representation of either a land based mine or off-shore mining rig (I'm currently using a generick crossed pickaxes graphic that I "borrowed from Civ II TOT).

I'll also probably use your industrial age fortress as a replacement for the modern fortress graphics in this particular mod, as well.

Hi, everyone
@Pounder: Great jobs!! 2 questions:
- what are those ruins (walls?) in your post #1 preview?
- is the flood plains terrain the original sn00py's or is it modified? (I don't remember the affluents of the river..)

10lire,

1) Those ruins in the first post are just an addition I had added to my re-done railroads just to add variety to the landscape.

2) The floodplains are Snoopy's that I have modified to add the escarpment to to, they are avaiable at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82265 or just click on the thread in my signature below.

The fortress was made by Hunter I believe, I modified the modern fortress to be transparent on the ground to show the underlying terrain.

The derrick is obviously not my idea, on this site (CFC) has the original derrick listed with 'author unknown'. The derrick I used was originally posted by overseas, I resized it and rearranged it moving the building, smoke stack to the side of the derrick and added pipes.

This would work good for one of those scenarios where all governments collapse and the world is plagued with bands of raiding bandits.

Pounder, could I get you to send me an email on isak_at_privat.dk (replacing _at_ with @ )

I would have sent you a pm, but well, I can't, sorry. :)

Attached is an in game screen shot.

I use Kinboat's Panda and Minotuar for barbs and Aaglo's ghost ship for barbs ship.
I think that Panda's going to get stomped :)

Hold on, I think I've seen that mech before somewhere ... Oh! ... I remember now

The 'ol Reaver got updated if you want to grab the new version (the civ-colours were too ... dominant ... on the old one, plus I made a palette error)
