I think we should wait until the completion of SoZ... or at least until we're sure we'll get it. They could also build it when they get Ivory, and even though we could deny ivory for them so they wouldn't get AC's we'd lose them too.

I hadn't thought of what Ankka said there, and felt it was a simple win-win situation.

Still, I voted for as soon as possible. We have to remember that before we can trade we first need Map Making, which will take at least 10 turns, probably some more.
Then, after we trade Map Making to C3B, both we and C3B need to build Harbors. That can take as long as we wish to complete. And in that time I think SoZ will be completed soon anyway.

C3B might be working on a pre-build. As soon as they have access they could change their production to SoZ and if they get it they have Ancient Cavalry and immortals and we're doomed. So no access for them to ivory even if SoZ is nearly completed. They'd need one turn (Palace & Pyramids for example take a lot longer than SoZ.)

I do think that they're bloody serious about our alliance, but still we shouldn't take that chance. They might even change their mind because of this scenario.

Also, if they get a scientific great leader, that could ruin our plans too. Trade ivory for incense only after the completion of the SoZ.

We MUST have SoZ finished by the time MapMaking is discovered and harbors built. Unless there are more clowns appearing in TF. :)

Should be OK with the trade.

I actually don't find that iron that important, Ankka. :p Horsemen are much more efficient against immortals. And fighting others won't happen so soon.

Horsemen... true. With some JT's as defence and AC's combined we could easily fight them and return to the defenders... At least in Theory.

Knight ok, but I doubt we'll make it to the industrial age. Especially since the game is over as soon as only two civs are dead.
