Is this the most fortuitous leader timing on Deity/Sid? On the lower levels doing max research on pottery to get the granary going and acquiring the Pyramids instead would obviously be better.

Where can I get a Science Advisor like that? I would surely spend more cash in Research!!

Nice, never got that lucky. (BTW, I would've used tighter placement if that were my game - there's a nice lake there too. I like to have 10/15spt cities on high levels during the ancient era).

I like to give my capital a bit of room. But mainly I was unable to move my SW city further SW because of the AI. The 3 cities to the NW are packed
pretty tight with one more city coming to the east. All the current cities have fresh water by the way although they do have some jungle problems.
Perhaps I should squeeze in a temporary city NE of the iron.
