The military advisor election has just ended in a tie between Sarevok and Falcon! There will now be a run-off poll. This poll runs for 2 days.

I Encourage all citizens to vote for Sarevok. I will still hold to what I said in the earlier thread and I hope to once again prepare the way for our nations victory over our enemies.

Falcon or Sarevok, Who should I chose :crasyeye:. Falcon and Sarevok, can you please post on why we should vote for either of you? :).

ACK! We've talked ALOT about this already :p Both in the original election thread and the nomination thread.

I post discussion threads and polls whenever something important comes up, to best judge the will of the people, and refine my own stradegy and tactics as best as possible, to help ensure there are no overlooked aspects of the plan which could end up being the difference between failure and sucess. This is also to encourage citizen participation, and to ensure I have a clear guide of the sacred will of the people.

I have 6 or more Terms of experience in this position, being Military Leader the last Four terms of Demogame one, and leading our troops in the tail end of the Domino war of Term One. I also have several Terms scattered between Demogame 2 and 3.

I encourage all to vote for Falcon02.

I agree, we have written several pages about this before, however I will write another.

The reason why I beleive people should vote me into this position is becasue I have been provem capable of leading victories against impossible odds and setting up our military fro future conquests. I cannot claim the vast record Falcon02 has in the DG as Ive only been around since DG3T6. What I can say however is that I am a reader of military history and a strategic planner for the last 5 years or so, probably longer. I have an enormous amount of experience in both tactical and strategic warfare, something absolutely essential in a commander.

It has been shown though that my strategies do work, as it was my strategy that won us the war against Babylon in DG4T3. Anyone who had all of the information would know that was a hopeless war or at least one that would have to be fought savagely to win it. The plan I set up managed not only to throw back their armies, but to launch immediate counter-offensives that although did not get us into the Babylonian's central plains, it did give us a significant resource edge, one which would be very useful later.

It was that war and the massive buildup that I oversaw that allowed us to win that war, but also prepare to win every war afterwards. The power we gained after that war was significant, and it was voted by a significant majority that our rise to power began with the 1st Babylonian war. It was this rise that allowed Chieftess to go on the amazing winning streak in T4 and T5 that eventually led to a conquest victory. Despite all of that, in the resulting senseless election for T6, I still defeated Cheiftess despite the memory of those conquests being fresh becasue the people knew what had allowed them to begin their rise to power.

My abilities have grown since then, as I have done much more intense research on battles and tactics as well as alot of civving. I encourage all citizens to vote Sarevok here so that once again we can lead this country into a golden age where nothing but victories and prosperity will come.

I recognize Sarevok as another great Military leader and will be honored to serve with him in the Department regardless of the outcome of this election.

I too am a student of History, in fact if I weren't in a Physical Science major (specifically Engineering) I'd be studying History. History is very important to Military Stradegy, it is better to learn from others and the past, then to be forced to learn from your own mistakes. History only goes so far in Civilization though, while it can help you with stradegy the whole "Never wage a Land war in Russia, especially during the Winter" rule learned by Napoleon and Hitler only apply so much in Civ. The Troops can't be killed by Winter cold on their retreat, and the AI rarely ever razes their own capital to the ground to ensure that your troops die of exposure. However, the Rule of avoiding a two front war is one which is shared in Civ and History, along with other Historical leasons which are important.

As mentioned before, I stress Citizen participation and input, with my Discussions and polls.

Also, when forumulating Plans I prefer using Screenshots to best communicate plans of attack. Showing both path taken (for the quickest most defensible path), and forces neccisary for each (to ensure victory).

i think i must vote for Sarevok, but its a hard choice, falcon makes alot of sense

Is this a joke? This is a run-off poll...

It's called a typo. ;) My finger went 3 letters too far to the right.

I think I will post one last page on why people should vote for me here. The point is not that "its a good idea" but that it is "the right idea". I do not want anybody voting here out of favoritism. I myself have recieved some highly disturbing info about DL's that I will not discuss in the forums. I want people to vote for me because they beleive that I will do a good job. It has been shown that I excell at this position, and I have lever let down the citizens of Fanatica and I will not let the citizens of Japanatica either.

There is no other place I can be, but what I have learned has deeply lowered my trust in the DG election system. I myself might just resign from the DG outright because of it. I have already sent a PM to my "opponent" of this election describing what I learned, and he could easily say that it was a good reason to leave the DG. It is unfortunate that some people cannot do anything but try to ruin others just for personal satisfaction. It is in these last few hours of this vote that my decision will be complete.

Though these words may prove self-destructive, I beleive it is good for people to know that this election was not as honorable as it should have been. I will say that Falcon02 had nothing to do with the dishonorable acts I learned about, but their very existence enough is disturbing to me.

Sarevok

Stay in there, we need you in either role, as we need Falcon02 in either role.

Sarevok,

PM the mods to have Thunderfall look into the electon. They will be able to weed out DLs, and if significant, could swing the election.

Hey, we haven't had that happen yet......... :mischief:

Seriously, just ask. :)

To be more realistic, DZ, the examination should be for the original MA election. This election is just the icing on the cake.
