Justinian is not only a 3D animated, era-specific leaderhead, but it comes with extra pcxs for more flexibility. There's a set of Ancient and Medieval pcxs, each including a single-era based JU_all pcx. There is also a traditional JU_all pcx showing all eras and a bonus JU_all pcx which has the Ancient images in era one, and Medieval in all the rest - this could suit some scenarios/conquests.

@Anarki - Yes, the Byzantines are in Conquests with Theodora (Justinian's wife) as the leader. BTW, I really do recommend you get Conquests, I think it's well worth it.

yes! Another unwanted leader (Theodora) is gone!
A couple of things....
-the head seems a bit long
-if I were you I would choose other backgrounds for the upper right and the lower right. Aerial views don't seem appropriate to be a background of a leaderhead. Perhaps some 3d objects made by you are better than photos.
Apart from that (I think that you could fix easily), many thanks!

What about an alternative French leaderhead? Many people are asking!

As you see we're divided.
Perhaps you and CivArmy could each make one leaderhead, one Louis and one Napoleon
 
Great leaderhead. I really hope to have Joan, Cathy, Mao, Cleo, and Theodora all replaced. And maybe Ghandi. It bothers me when he sneak attacks me.

Thanks for the comments; I like Justinian as he is; having photos as backgrounds is kind of a trademark of mine ;) . Civ Army s 1994 has 3d objects in the background and they do look good, but then IMHO, he's a better artist than me and can do these more effectively than I can. I have a system that works for me; believe me when I say that using photos looks better than me doing 3d objects in the background. Who knows though, I might improve and change my style in the future.

I agree that France lacks a decent leaderhead. I have it as one of my many requests on my "to do" list, but am undecided whether Louis or Napoleon would be a better choice. Personally, I'm edging towards Napoleon.....

How about Napoleon with a Louis XIV style for the Medieval era?

Any of the two, Louis or Napoleon should have proper styles for each era: 1-barbarian or gaul; 2-monarch with a wig and the "yellow lilys on blue background" cloths; 3-dressed like Joan in Industrial; 4-with a hat and mustache: typical 20th Century french

Jaguar, that is exactly my "to be replaced" list! Oh by the way, I'd add Caesar: he really doesn't look like he was. An oldier and baldier one would look better.
Another thing that I hate is European cloths with non-European leaders (see Mao in Middle Ages and Gandhi in both middle and industrial...)

I know that there's an alternative to Mao floating around, actually. But I don't know where to get it. They don't have Mao in the Chinese version of the game for political reasons.
