*** GAME STOPPED ***

Due to popular demand, I am organizing another RoR PBEM
I should not play in this one if it fills in fast enough.

"Tanit" was the moon goddess of the Carthaginians. (no I am not partial !)

The first one is running quite fast with 5 players (cf http://forums.civfanatics.com/showt...&threadid=85551). Another one is running fast too (CeD), this one should be a fast game as well since there are only 4 human players.
It is for Conquests, using the MP version of the Rise of Rome scenario and the patch 1.22.
So you need to have both Conquests and the patch 1.22 installed on your computer.

Civs will be attributed randomly.

Carthage -
Celts - AI
Egypt - AI
Goths - AI
Macedonia -
Persia -
Rome -
Scythes - AI

Players : 8 (Celts, Goths, Scythes and Egypt will be played by AI)

1. Romeothemonk - Carthage
2. Oblivion - Rome
3. Random Fan - Macedon
4. Detlef Richter - Persia
5. AI
6. AI
7. AI
8. AI

You want to be in ? You have further questions ? Post in this thread or send me a PM. If ready to join, send me a PM with your e-mail.

Organization : the game will be called "Tanit" to be recognizable and when you get the game, send a mail to inform the sender you got it.

Count me in. Oh and if it happens that you will draw Persia for me I won't mind to play it. Wanna see what i can do with it from the start.

Edit: Oh and no AP please in this one.

No AP. AP gives too much advantage to Rome. I am ready.
The 1 HP settlers, with AP allows rome to expand and win with never touching Carthage.
Beware Hannibal.

AP is accelerated Production.

Ok game full. I will send the planning mail ASAP and the file without AP to Oblivion who will start the game.

We should also have no AI Alliances in the first 5 turns. They can really upset the Persians (Egypt), and will join for a song. Same with Celts against Carthage/Rome and Scythians vs Greece.
By Waiting, Egypt has a chance to build forces and isn't crushed in 3 heartbeats by Carthage or Persia whenever they want to.

I still haven't played my 1st turn yet so if everyone agrees Persia won't find herself at war with Egypt and Scyth on the very first turn :)

Hmm Rome and Persia are silent. Okay so if no one cares, so be it, that is your call.

I just realized i don't have Richter's mail address...

I have yet to see my first turn. Post turns here if the email is done or something.

Sorry I am too tired to play my turn right now and I want to sleep will play it in next 12 hours. If Oblivion and Richter both won't accept 5 turn no MA with AI rule in this period of time and post here I won't accept it too either...

Eh?
I had assumed that i had accepted as LouLong sent me an e-mail confirming it. I didn't raise any objections to that e-mail. I am perfectly happy with that rule.

Hey guys, can we step up the pace? This game only takes at most 15 minutes per turn. It shouldn't take 8 days to make 1 round. Can Lou play for Oblivion during Oblivions abscense? It might help in trying to get this off the ground.
1st Turn Carthage, a mighty seafaring race, lost a galley flawlessly to a Roman dingy. This is relatively unacceptable. Oh, well.
In 15 turns, we will see what happens. ELEPHANTS!! Woo

Played and sent.
Not much action.
A catapult bombarded a road in Sicily, severly reducing Carthaginian troop movement.

Well not really. I sent the game to Detlef on September 4th and haven't seen it since then... I can't say I am very unhappy about it since I am already playing one Rise of Rome scenario.
