This is most definately going to be a breeze for all you unit/leaderhead creators out there, but its a pain-in-the-@$$ for me.

I am trying to make 9 single direction, 1 frame units using a 501x327 pxl 256 colour pcx. It is for the Troy mod the100thballoon is working on.

I have the pcx, I have SBB, Flicster, a blank.flc, but what ever I need to do to get these units made, I don't know.

I am not looking for a handout here, just directions to the proper tutorials. The ones in the forum are on how to create units using GIMP etc. I don't need to render the units, just single frame, unidirectional, static flcs.

Would someone care to give me directions to the tutorials, or perhaps a link to a website on how to get this done? :)

Thanx for the info Straczynski. I tried it but the *#&% palette got screwed up so I ended up making this.

What's wrong with it? Are the colors wrong?

 No the colors are fine. I ended up making this instead of what I started. I am trying to break this gfx up into a 9 tile square so that each unit appears to merge into atleast 3 others to create the illusion of one very large unit instead of just being actually one very large unit. :mischief:

Well, there ya go... if you're using Photoshop, or any of those programs I'd assume, you can save the .ACT or .PAL file and then you'll be able to load it for the other storyboards too.
