Boiling hot rock the mass of Uranus discovered!

"Boiling hot rock the mass of Uranus discovered!"

/me takes mind out of the gutter

Cool for astronomy.

Yeah, really good for astronomers. Gives us hope that there are terrestrial-like planets out there.

I've always assumed that there was. Be nice to have some proof to back it up.

It's kind of amazing that it's also so "close" to our own system.

Geez, just like, say, 15 years ago, people could actually say that there were no other planets in the Universe, and no one could prove them wrong.

Now we've found dozens of them...

This is so great.

How about this?

The texturing belong to other artists. I must give credit to them. The night lights you see on the dark side are CITY lights.

Me: Mr. Spock scan that article
Spock: Aye, Captain
[A large explosion is heard]
Scotty: Captain, the bull-crap sensors are overloaded we cannae continue scanning!
Me: That'll be enough scanning, Mr. Spock
Spock: Aye, Captain

Wow, and I thought us Minnesotans were tough! Those people can live in 7K?!?!?! Wow!!! How can they manage to breathe that solid oxygen?!?!?!

wow cool. the first rocky planet....
Now we can say there is a big chance we are not alone against all pessimists.
but i was first surprised by the line: rock the mass of Ur anus ;) :mischief:

My theory is: They evolved under water, (like on Europa, scientists theorize), whose heat was maintained by the internal heat of the planet. And over millions of years, unlike us wierd humans, managed to develop intelligence. According to Sitchin, they arrived here on earth for colonization purposes, about half a million years ago, and created us for slavery purposes (but we rebelled and here we are ;) ). So back then, spaceflight & advanced genetic engineering were probably relatively new inventions for them (as of half a million years ago). As for the surface lights, it's just theoretical. If the Nibiruans DO live on the surface, I'm sure they live in habitation domes. How they got the oxygen, I still don't know.

Here's another Nibiru article. Sounds more realistic to me. (The author claims that Nibiru was destroyed. I think it's still out there.)

I think the number of discovered planets outside our solar system is over one hundred. Very large planets though, as large or larger than our gas giants.

Hopefully new techniques will eventually allow us to discover earth size planets.

If they we're so acclaimated to that lifestyle why didn't they go to Europa instead? And where's all the stuff they left behind?

How could we rebel if they were smarter? Also if they created us then why is it weird that we are not intelligent?

So they're DNA based as well! Wow, that's pretty crazy! And if they created us, why all the hominid transitional fossils

Why would they live on the surface if they evolved underwater.

That's kinda important, unless they run on some weird biochemical process that doesn't need it.

And yes, I also live in Minnesota :)
Scary

But it's completly inconsitant with your idea, it says they're from a reptilian super race from Zaos, you said that they're aquatic things that evolved on Nibru.

Is it too much to ask for consistant lies?

Those are just peoples different ideas and opinions. Really, I have no clue what these guys actually look like, but I believe they look most like us. Personally, I prefer Sitchin's view of things. I remember reading somewhere that for an earthlike atmosphere in such cold temps, the planet surface would have to be, literally, piping hot! (Imagine space aliens hopping about, "OUCH!!! MY FEET!!!! IT'S HOT!!!! ) Sitchin says that it is visible in daylight. For that to happen, there must be a lot of highly reflective ICE, a lot of CLOUDS, or both.

Perhaps so they can launch their spaceships?

About the hominid fossils? The neanderthals were used for genetic engineering, cross-breeding with them, then slaughtered them.

Buying his book, "The Twelfth Planet," and the rest of the "Earth Chronicles" series would make things a whole lot easier, since I am TERRIBLE at giving descriptions, as you can obviously tell. :)

 That sentence really cracks me up

It's funny to see that all the "theories" saying man is from ET origin point to "superevolved" races doing "extravanced" biological tampering. In other words, our ET origin has to be, you know, cooool :)

How comes there's no theory saying our origins are the chemical elements of a giant turd mistakingly laid on Earth by a herd of lost spacecows on their way to Epsilon Eridani ?

I believe that's called B.S. :lol::rotfl::lol:

For the same reason that everyone who's been re-incarnated claims to have been Queen Elizabeth or Julius Ceasar....

People can't handle being common, I guess.

Hope they find more planets in that system. I didn't look at the article too closely. Would be nice if there was more than the one planet. Be nicer of our telescopes were better resolution wise to tell if there are more, smaller planets there. It would be really depressing (although not unexpected, for me at least) to be the only kids on the block here.
