You don't invert palette... it shows shows in the other order, but it's the same palette O_o

You don't use any extension other than PCX too. Civ3SBB creates BMPs, you open them, convert to indexed palette and save as finished storyboards PCXs.

I took a look at the zip and the first thing I noticed was that you have shades of magenta outside of the bottom of the palette, that a big no-no, just delete those from you palette.

there is no easy way to reverse the order of the palette, however, if you apply your palette that you have now to your storyboard in PSP, then when you open the image in PS, the palette will appear to be reversed but that's just the may PS reads it i suppose ;)

as for the best extension, if you're going to use PSP use .pal extension. If you're going to use PS then use .act.

I hope that helped :D

I'll tell all the process, maybe we can find the error:
- I do all the animations in Poser 5
- Export all the 8 views to 8 *.avi files
- Using Jasc Animator Pro 4.0 , I changed every frame of *.avi files to *.bmp
- I use SBB do create the storyboard (for this reason I did the last step)
- I turn on Flicster and create the files *.fmx and *.pcx
- I turn on PEdit, load the pallete that comes with the software, smooth there the colors that I need and save the palette
- I turn on PhotoShop 7.0: save the storyboard did in SBB with the same name of the storyboard created by FLICster (replace file). Them I change to 24bits to "index colors". I load the pallete created in PEDit and the image has its color all changes, I think the error is in this step.

Fellows, where is my error?

There is no error in your method :)
The error is in the palette, the palette that came with PEdit was made by kinboat and is meant for use in PSP, the only way I can think of to make the palette to work with PS is to manually reverse the order of the colours, since you made a list of all the RGB values it wouldn't be too hard to do :)

well, the first one of those palettes is the correct order, however, all the colours seem to have been darkened for some reason :hmm: that's not good. the other error is that magenta is in the third row, it should be the very first colour in the palette.
If you fix those two things it should work :D

WORKS!!! THE COLOR ARE RIGHT NOW!!!
I've done wrong steps in the past (replace the file), now I just copy/past the storyboard created in SBB into Flcster ones and the color works. There I loaded the below palete, it is working good.
But I have another problem: when I load the unit in the game, Civilization 3 craches :( The works works good, untill appear the firt CaveMan (my unit). bofere the screen show the unit, it crashes. WHAT IS HAPPEN???????
All the files are in this post.

HELP!!!!

When I opened up the .flc file I got this -
errormessage.png

just say yes and flicster will fix it :)

Glad you figured it out the palette! :D :D :D

I have flicster build 18 (final version)

Instead of opening the .fxm file like you normally would, open the .flc file flicster created, then you'll get that message :)
