Kings should have a more important role than just regicide.There could be a different mode where each king has different abilities for example militaristic kings like bismarck,temujin,tokugawa and so on should be able to build an army right from the start.Industrious,commercial,agricutural,religious etc. should be able to hurry improvments.And scientific leaders can obviously hurry research.So basically,your starting with a different type of leader.You should also get to choose which one you want incase your leader is bismarck or someone who could build an army or start science age.
