As you can see in the map below, not only have the Romans settled in our rightful territory, but the Babylonians have disgraced our valley as well.
We currently have a Settler in Furuyama headed towards the site in Red on the Map. This will bring Culture battle to bear on the Babylonians, and will put Eridu within our Temple's Radius.
I have considered an alternate site, marked in Orange. While it shifts a little bit of culture from the battle of Eridu, it also A: takes cultural pressure from Eridu off of us, and B: Brings Neapolis into the battle. Once we get Eridu, we can have 2 cities "attacking" Neapolis.
There is also the sentiment that, since the Gems won't be at risk and it's too crowded anyway, we should just junk the "Defiled Valley" and just go ahead and go straight to Blue.
This Poll will last for 48 Hours. The battle between Red and Orange, since it is merely where within the sector, will be a battle for Plurality, i.e. most votes there win, Red breaks the tie.
The "Blue" Option is a "Veto" Option. This means that it will be used ONLY IF there is a majority backing (i.e. 50% +1)
So: If Blue gets at least 50%+1, then go there
If Blue Falls Short of 50%+1, then go to the winner of Red/Orange.
Clear?
Discussion is in the latter portions of this thread.
