A poll will be posted in 24 hours.

We have some choice here:
Philosophy(Nothing Much, but pre req for Republic)
Code of Laws(Courthouses, pre req for republic)
Currency(Marketplaces!!!!!)
Construction(Aqueduct, Colloseum, Great Wall, Fortresses)

The science ministry reccomends Currency . As marketplaces increase income and gives us luxes multipliers.

I'm sorry; I was looking at the turn 10 510 BC save ... :wallbash:

But that doesn't change my choice of Currency and 2nd choice CoL.
and i agree with you :goodjob:

I'll agree with Currency. :D

Currency, we need those marketplaces.

We can hope that we learn currency first, hoping that Zululand will research literature, and that the other civilizations research construction. They also could research monarchy. Although currency or code of laws would have the most benefits, philosophy would be a monopoly. My choice at the present moment would be currency. Silks would provide two happy faces with marketplaces, for another benefit in addition to the increased income (although the science would have to be lower to make use of the benefit, but the science will go down as our costs increase).

I'll agree with currency too. No need for Philosophy (we aren't going Republic and it gives nothing.) Construction: All the AIs go after it, so if we can get to Currency, I can see trading going on. Code of Laws would be ok, except right now I don't think our cities need courthouses (it would take too much time to build, plus the towns aren't that big.) Go for Currency!

The Department of Domestic Affairs Applauds the Department of Research's Endorcement of Currency! As well as that of the General Sentiment.

It is clear that the Department of Research sees the need for an increased Economy, as well as extra happiness through intra-national trade.

As well, Currency by itself may open doors of inter-national trade to us.

(In fact, had I known that other AI civs were researching Literature already, I would've Asked to skip Lit for now to focus on Currency as a Barganing Chip if nothing more. But anyway...)

Go Currency!

Mapmaking for our lighthouse and continental war crime amnesty wonder.

We got Mapmaking, Provo. From the Iroquios, I believe.

I'm split between currency and construction. Whichever one the AI is least likely to get.

Blackheart, the Zulu already know Construction, so you probably can assume the other AIs might learn it in the next 5-15ish turns. That is why I urge everyone to head for Currency! Wait for Construction's price for trading to go down, and then do some tech swapping to get right back in the lead.
