does anyone use the CIV1 map editor?

do you ppl use the editor Gaborka wrote? it actually WORKS, unlike the one on the downloads page.... (kinda slow though, but it WORKS) :goodjob:

I downloaded the map editor and unzipped it but when try to open a saved game it gives me a runtime error "76" - path not found. I tried debugging the macro in Visual Basic but I know barely anything of Visual Basic :cry:

. I got rid of a "if" command(can't remember where) and then the open button worked partly. What happens is that even after I put the right path it doesn't find my save games. Any help?

Why not just use the map editor included with CivNet? If you are already playing the WinCiv there is no reason not to play CivNet.

I don't use the Civ 1 editor. I used to but I now use the editors for Civ 2 and 3, they are easier and a bit more detailed.

We have evolved alot since 01 and 02, so you can just make a new thread lol

Gaborka is long gone, it's all Dack now

Dack has Terra Form, he has a working version, but won't release because it's not complete
and he will not complete it because he has no motivation
