MOD: Airbase

This is my airbase mod. The airbase has a/d 0/0 (therefore capturable), is land, immobile, carries six air, paradrops (think of it as "deploying") eight squares, and requires Advanced Flight. Thanks to Dark Sheer for the airbase graphic.

I've playtested it, yes, and the AI doesn't use it, but it's still useful. I've had some problems with the graphics Dark Sheer gave me (I originally used the carrier flc's), but this may have to do with the fact that I was loading from a saved game.
 
Good idea.

In SMAC out of city aircraft landing strips were a terain enhancment.
if only we could make our own worker jobs in Civ3...
i dont supose we can can we? has anyone tried?
