Guess its going to be another temple although AoA did ask which city MC should be built in and maybe it would be best here since it is the Holy Duck Pond...

Umm we already have a temple here, so we probably don't need to build another one. As for MC, I think it should be built in whichever city has the most production, but we haven't seen the full city displays of Olympia, Fort Pornstar, or Athenae, so its kinda hard to tell which has the most available shields. Out of the four that we have seen Duck Pond and Hippoville each have five available shields, in which case I think Hippoville would be the best choice so we don't have all of our wonders in one city for the enemy to capture.

If Hippo is to then build MC, I think we should take advantage of all the trade the Colossus is giving us and build a marketplace to make more money and keep the people of Duck Pond happy.

I think we should build a bunch of warior's in our empire and use leo's workshop to upgrade them.Cheap martial law ,and then build a marketplace in every city. (after it has constructed temple's
That way we dont need that much luxury's and set more on science. The support of such a force is good in monarchy but not in republic ,as thus we should only switch to republic when our empire is grown to a fairly poppulated level.

This city already has a temple, I provided a screen shot.

Also, it's a bad idea to group to many wonders in one city, this is the science city, not a religious center.

I seem to remember something about us getting a tech every 8 turns or so. For Astronomy, the tech with the next relevant science wonder, we will need Masonry and then Mathematics. This is 24 turns, or less if the science rate changes through city growth. However, we also have 4(?) caravans stationed in the Duck Pond who are doing duck all at the moment. We should move these caravans out to the city in which we shall be building Mike's and either start to produce another wonder here which we can switch to Cop's, or a caravan that we can add to its production straightaway if we would have finished the wonder by then. So if we go straight for Astronomy and have a wonder that we can build in more than 24 turns then I say put Duck Pond on that wonder and switch. If we are going to research other things (Did anybody say Warrior Code? Let me hear ya say Feudalism!) then we should produce caravans to rush the wonders we really want. :goodjob:

True, but it is emperor level, and the AI does send out Pirates and does on occausion get agressive.
If the city with Mich's and is the sci-city is lost for even one turn, it means disruption of research, and massive city revolts.

Why take foolish risks?

As for production, it takes 6 caravans to make Copernicus or Michelangelo's, so the city with best production for wonder building, and early start wonder building is irelivent.
That city should pump out caravans, which provide 50 shields for wonder building, a much more effective and flexible way to produce wonders then to tie down a city with 5 shield production to making a wonder for centuries.

We should build 2 warriors, then Some wonder, which we could change to
copernicus without shield damage.
