I've had Civ3 for a few days now and the longest game i've had has been around 5 hours long.
Right now i'm playing with the Americans and i'm 5 technologies ahead of all of the other races on the map and i've got a huge army.

I'm the light blue area, the zulus were below me to the left and the germans were below me to the right, until i destroyed both of them. I started out being polite to everyone, but then the Zulus declared war on me, and then got every single other race on the map to declare war on me too.
So i thought: "Screw this!" and i started to get an army up and running. It took about 10 units to take each city and the Zulus were a complete ***** to destroy.
The Zulus and Germans both tried to get me to sign a peace treaty, but i declined when i started whooping their ass. I was too angry to let them live so i took out all of their cities one by one. I got a few wonders from them too.
Now, none of the other civs dare declare war on me with my huge army and when i bargain with them, they pretty much do what i say.
I've spent the last two hours alone kicking the Zulu's and German's asses. Each turn lasted anything from 1 to 10 minutes. It was madness.
It slowed down my research and city developement alot, plus i've got a load of cities that i have no idea what to do with, because i took over the cities, rather than getting rid of them.
Ah well, it'll be fun to see how this level turns out.
