IF there's room for me, i'd like to play... or if not, i can take my ball and just go home! :king:

Whose buttock shall we kick today???

Looks like we will have to invade someone a bit later... then get a FP on their continent.
Inherited turn: I bring out the weedkiller. Archers? Are we planning to go to war with the first person we meet? Barracks? Barracks are a drain on treasury. We should be running 100% science! Oh, well. Boost science to 70%, Ironworking in 7 turns earlier. Swap veii to settler.
Hit enter.
1: 2470 BC. I move an archer and discover more furs. Began a wheat road.
2: 2430 BC. I move an archer.
3: 2390 BC. Rome builds an archer, i set it to settler.
4: 2350 BC. Wheat road completed, an extra 1 gpt. AM.
5: 2310 BC. Archer Movement.
6: 2270 BC. More AM. We have 3 furs.
7: 2230 BC. Archer Movement. Make that 6 furs
8: 2190 BC. Nothing...
9: 2150 BC. Rome builds settler, starts a spearman
10: 2110 BC. We have mined the wheat...
11: 2070 BC. Archer movement.
12: 2030 BC. Veii builds settler. I start it on a mighty project, the Colossus.
13: 1990 BC. AM.
14: 1950 BC. Antium founded near some furs.
15: 1910 BC. Rome builds spearman, start a worker.
16: 1870 BC. There is a goody hut in the north west. It is deserted. We are on an island.
17: 1830 BC. ****, barbs appear next to our settler. Wake the fortified warrior.
18: 1790 BC. Cumae founded. Start a temple.
19: 1750 BC. Rome builds a worker.
20: 1725 BC. I look for the barb camp.
20: 1700 BC. We have Iron in 2 turns. The Next player plays until 1175 BC.

Oops, the pic is from 1725. The savefile is from 1700 though.

3 more dots.

We will have to get a FP on the next continent. Of course, you could overlap a little in the far west, and get a FP there- but you are NOT supposed to overlap the FP.

1)1700BC: Moving warrior to defend Cumae

2)1675BC: Rome begins Temple

3)1650BC: We discover Iron Working! We begin to research Masonry(10 turns). Barbarian camp spotted...

4)1625BC: Barbarian camp destroyed, we gain 25gold. Spearman is built and fortifies Antium. Starting another spearman(10 turns)

5)1600BC: Archer guards the beach and marks a good place for our next city

6)1575BC: zzzz

7)1550BC: zzzz

8)1525BC: Archer patrols the continent, spots another barbarian camp...

9)1500BC: Attacked by barbarians, we are victorious!

10)1475BC: Attacked by barbarians, we are victorious! Our archer has become an elite!

11)1450BC: zzzz

12)1425BC: We attack the barbarian village and gain 25 gold!

13)1400BC: We discover Masonry! We begin to research pottery(5turns)

14)1375BC: Spearman created, a worker will be made in 4 turns to begin connecting our cities

15)1350BC: zzzz

16)1325BC: zzzz

17)1300BC: We discover Pottery, begin researching The Wheel. Rome finishes the temple and begins Granary. Our worker finishes chopping the forest next to Veii and we cut the turns of the Colossus from 35 to 25!
[dance]

18)1275BC: The worker in Antium is finished and begins our road network. I start to build a Granary(30 turns) mainly because Antium is surrounded by forest and cannot supply food for its people.

19)1250BC: zzzz

20)1225BC: Barbarian spotted..(not like our new elite archer can't handle 'em!) ;)

21)1200BC: Played one extra turn to kill the barbarian..the camp was spotted...lets pillage it for gold!

Well I think we are doing okay but there does not seem to be any iron on our small island...(this could be very bad...)

Please allow the worker to finish cutting down the square of forest to cut the granary time for Antium

Make sure that you build a settler when Rome finishes the Granary, then move the settler to those furs. I think a good spot would be where the archer is guarding, it is on the beach (we will need a lot of ships) and we can get 2 of the furs without having to culturally expand...

Good luck to next player! :)
