As we enter the month of May, it is time to revisit the positions that each of us have responsibility for.

I would think that the volunteer method for the positions would be quickest, but in the effort to bring nominations to the table I'd like to nominate all of those who held positions last time to the same ones. Things worked very smoothly as far as I'm concerned.

I think that Civ-1 has been around enough to warrant a postion should he wish as well. I'll put a general nomination out for him.

Leowind, Becka, Ohwell, et. al. I'll nominate for deputy spots. I know that their time is limited, but I've been glad for the input.

Perhaps Fonz could do something too. :)

For myself, I'll stay on as president if you'd all like. I'd be happy to take up a different position if someone else is burning to take over the presidency as well - no problems, I'll jump in wherever needed. I've had fun doing the turns, and I wouldn't mind staying on for another month.

So how does everyone else feel?

Foreign Minister is still free if anyone wants a change of scenery and some expensive trips to foreign capitals. Mind you, we're at war now so expensive trips is unlikely for the moment, but a possibility in the future. :)

I'm happy to stay as Minister for the promotion of caravans erm, Interior though but could change cabinet seats if anyone really wants to change. :D

I like being the member of the cabinet who has held their position for the longest time period so I don't want to change...

I'd love to keep my [position. :king:

Thanks for the nomination but I'm afraid that I don't have enough time to put into the game. The last 2 weeks at work were laid back so I had enough time but beginning tomorrow I'll have work piling up so high I won't be able to look over it anymore. So sorry but I will be surfing around here and giving my views on stuff but I can't give the game the attention it deserves. :(

While the prestige and lucrative income of a deputy position certainly has its attractions, I'm afraid that citizen Leowind is still quite busy orchestrating the rebuilding and defenses of St. Leowind at the moment. His heart and soul are with his people there, so there he shall remain, freely giving his wise advice to the inner circle as time permits, of course ;)

I have had a hard time keeping up with the high pace of late (good job, Kev!) and it will be even harder in the near future. Nevertheless, I could stay as governor for Phobos and Deimos if the rest of you find some lag time acceptable.

As long as you continue posting quite often then its okay...Our empire is pretty large now so there is less need to have specific build orders for each city as the production could simply be swapped...

I'm glad to see that everyone is interested in staying on!

Is everyone OK if I take another tour as President? I'll be happy to step aside if there are any others who would like to take a shot at it, but I'm just as happy to stay.

Hmmm, maybe, but only if you are willing to give us each a city named after us. ;)

Oh, you've already done that?! Ok, then, you're hired. :)

I actually very much enjoy reading your turn commentaries and think you are doing a great job. :D :goodjob:

Feeling left out again.
Anyway, you're doing a great job so you've got my vote to stay as president Kev.

Thanks for the votes of confidence, guys.

Yes, Civ-1, we have to find a city for you. Ren could use a namesake as well. Other passers-by could include Ohwell, et. al.

Been so busy improving the land that I've not had a chance to make new cities. Perhaps this is something that we could revisit...

Not quite everyone :(

*mumbles something about Renmark*

Edit 1: Whoops, should've read the rest of the posts :D

And I am happy with my cushy job (risking my life on the front line), but if anyone wants to take over, I will barricade myself in and defend my position using those loyal to my Moderno Imperiello Militario Supremo :king: :mwaha: ;)

And where is civ1-addict's city??? *looks again* Unknown City??

Edit 2: I mean Unkown City

No, that's Unknown Soldier's city. US seems to have defected to Gamecatcher totally now though. Maybe I just miss the posts. I'm sure that we can manage Renmark sometime soon though. Don't know if there's anything that civ1-addict would like as a city name - I can barely remember anything specific to Civ that didn't appear in the others. Oops. :(

Apart from that - I'm delighted that Kev is willing to continue presiding over our keggers (and, erm, that empire thing we're supposed to be running). :goodjob:

I really don't need a city named after me, but what strikes me is that the inventor of the original isn't granted a city-name: Sid!
So I say, a town called Sidsville or Sidtown or something...I'm not good in making up names, sorry.:D

Sorry. I didn't actually mean that Kev had founded all of the cities, but that they would be done (as in he is keeping a campaign promise ;)). He has already mentioned a few times about naming cities after everyone. He was just waiting until he finds good city cites worthy enough to bestow your names upon them.
