Nope. This citizen group is not supported under Civ3. You'll have to buy "Play The World" first. Then, if you're lucky...

What about me? I'm of part German and Polish descent.

German and the Norwegian languages (Nordic?) are in the Germanic language family, I believe.

I have atleast Slavic and Germanic blood (and Italian - Roman!).

I've got Swedish blood in me, not to mention the name of my Swedish Ancestors is MY last name (Americanized as it is).

So while I'm too far removed to know the Scandinavian Languages, I believe I qualify (however confused I may be by the conversations that may go on in here when they're not posted in English).

Couldnt you start a German/Polish/Whatever society. It should be some more Germans then you around.

) Anyway I have an idea maybe it sucks I dont know,ok here it is: Some of us could move to a city where noone lives right now and take over the city and appoint a mayor and then we would have and all Scandinavian city (I dont know why really, just sounded fun). Anyway just tell me what you think. :viking:

By the way, your idea sounded very interesting. A Norwegian/Scandinavian/Nordic city in Phoenatica would be the ultimate goal. We should all stick together, and not spread all around our empire. Just sign up, and come with good suggestions on wich city we should "invade". :enlighten

Sorry Eivind but I cannot move from PDX I´am mayor there and it is the capital province of Normandy.
But it would sound right if we invade a city in Normandy we are Northmen, I would recommend PDX

And, looking at Crabapple's suggestion... Why not take over the Province of Normandy in general, not just one city? The area was ruled by the Norse for a long while, decendents of the Vikings who invaded the area and settled down.
