Should Council Members be required to post a Citizen Poll when posting Council Votes?

  • Yes, when a poll wasn’t posted as part of the discussion leading to the Council Vote.

  • No, leave this up to the At-Large Councilors.

A new poll should be posted for each vote. This was my intention when I suggested these positions many weeks ago.

I agree, but this poll is to require the Cabinet Member that posts a Cabinet Vote to immediately post the Citizen Poll. It would eliminate the "lag" between when the Cabinet Vote is posted and when one of the At-Large Councilors sees it.

The poll could be posted by anyone. Maybe the person who posts the cabinet poll should also immediately post the citizens poll for the at-large ministers? It does need to be posted, as people's opinions may change, and they should have the oppurtunity to change their vote.
