does someone have a tool to extrace the map (without units) out of a save in png-format (or any other non-linechanging format, like gif. not jpg)? please pm me or post in here.

I'll join.
![]() You can press CTRL-SHIFT-M to view the geography. BTW, we could collect all of the minimaps (world bordes map) and paste the next to each other, along with the year. i.e., a table with the picture in 1 cell, and the date right below it (centered).

this would be good. we could also make a movie out of it (gf, thats your part ;-)
even with ctrlshiftm, i will have to paste screenshots together. having a tool to extract a pic of the world would really be better. |

BTW:
From the constitution (1) When a defined province grows to 3 cities during an election term, a provincial governor may be appointed. If my provincial maps are up to date (if there's new ones above, they're STILL loading...), the former Iroquois lands, province 10 will need a governor. Do you have a provincial map (updated) up?

I just completed a map of the newly captured Iroquios cities. Rather than clogging this thread full of pictures, I'll post a link to the picture on the civfanatics file server.

Yup, definitely need a new governor. We're going to need definition of the next province too as there will be another governor needed after Niagara Falls is taken.

we should send geographical measurement teams there to survey where future borders of provinces could be.
i think we need a 1 province planning ahead on the borders would be nice. |

I have created a map for my proposed bounderies of the 11th province. In my map, all of the Iroquois cities were included in the new province, with the exception of Tyendenaga.
EDIT: The map has been changed to include Tyendenaga. http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads/province11prop1.jpg Last edited by Octavian X; Jul 22, 2002 at 09:43 PM. |

Any reason not to have it contain the rest of the peninsula, including Tyendenaga, Caughnewaga, Bengal and Rhodes?

I will change it slightly to allow for Tyendenaga, but after that, the rest of the penninsula would have to be divided into more provinces. My sincere hope was that this war would end with the capture of Niagara Falls and Allegheny, and I think that a war with the Indians is a long way off.

I like it. I'd say go ahead and launch a poll for it if there are no dissenters. We'll need it after the next turn chat.

Yikes. My PC is pretty slow with this thread and I my PC isn't that bad. Perhaps the pics should stay under 500kB each. I'm not so sure all in the same thread is a good idea too. Maybe links and/or previews? Is that too much or possible?
