To download, just follow the link here: www.geocities.com/suny1963

In this version you can copy your end-of-last-turn production then paste it to beginning-of-this-turn game. Which means you don't need to use Lazyciv in the previous turn in order to keep production of this turn. Give it a try!

Also the program will double the amount of shields if the production was changed to a wonder by the AI. Don't know the effect yet but it shouldn't be a big issue since such things are rare.

This version is compatible with version 2. That is, all saved files under version 2 can be retrieved by version 3.

There are two zip files on my webpage, one for official MPE, another for customized MPE (i.e., the ones upgraded from 2.4.2 or tot).

Yes, the AI can change production even when Ctrl-N is pressed. This can happen if you're attacked, and the ai assumes controll and changes the production. And when this happens, LazyCiv is the program to solve the problem ;)

SlowThinker: I'll revise the program to fix the worker re-allocation problem. I think I can add a few lines of code in the copy-paste function to reserve the worker positions. There are two potential problems: First, if there is population change (either increase or decrease), then the AI automatically adjust production and that may nullify the paste effort. Second, if there are foreign troops on your previously worked squares, then the paste function will not be valid.

What do you want to say? The worker on the occupied square will be moved.
But this is a natural behaviour of Civ2, isn't it?

But I start to think that your work might be not worthwhile. LazyCiv is needed only occasionally, and so people should get accustomed not to go to Demographics window anyway.
