Holy boobies, Batman!

I was playing Gotm 8 the other day and near the end of the game when I was moving my radar artilliery it made a strange noise. It made the regular tank like noise but as it stopped I heard something similar to "Holy boobies, Batman!" Has anyone heard this before? Is it an easter egg or did I have something running in the background that I wasnt aware of? It happened later on in the same game while moving radar artillery again.

Ok I tried it again with my own save games and it didnt work. Actually I was thinking maybe it was playing on some web pages I was looking at but it did seem to be associated with moving the radar artillery.

I had something similar happen...

I was sitting there playing Civ3 for a few hours, and as I moved a radar artillery next to a city, I hear someone say "Honey, will you please take out the trash?" I thought, that's pretty weird, so I just ignored it, but a few minutes later, when I was about to attack another city, and moved a modern armor next to the city, I heard it again, but this time the pitch seemed a bit higher.

Has this happened to anyone before? Is it an easter egg? I just ignored it and kept playing, but it was kind of distracting.

Well, back to my game.

That sounds like the Domestic Nag. Who says Civ3 doesn't simulate the real world?

Yeah, I noticed the 'Domestic Nag' bug appeared quite a lot when I first installed civ, particularly after a lengthy session. It's frequency increased and increased until I installed the latest fix from Firaxis, 'Divorce 1.2'. This fixed the problem immediately and the game now runs lots smoother without interuptions or crashes - it just cost me £30,000 and half my house......

Have you checked to make sure that Wife 1.0 isn't running in the background? I hear if you get the latest patch, it hibernates while you're in game mode :lol:
