The war with the Greeks is going well, and the province of Kashmir has been filled out! In this battle, we lost a few good cavalry, and a cerimony will be held in their memory and honor. Our troops are now on their way to Corinth, where the next stage of the campaign will begin. We have also built Hoover, which greatly increases our production!

Boston - Hospital

Paville - Temple
Lutetia - Aqueduct (on turn 9, or just before next pop growth)

No other Funding is approved at this time.

Game Save for Turn 0.

We have achieved peace!

In 1525, the Greecian war continued. Our cities started calling in the reservists as infantry and artillery were being produced. Our troops, including artillery, advanced towards Corinth, and our immortals provided an "escort" for the Iroquois SoD, which was an effort to save a few turns. The years rolled on, and in 1530, a major battle took place for the city of Corinth. Our artillery were able to severely damage the Greek Infantryman. Another 3 of our cavalry and 1 infantryman perished in the face of intense resistence while attempting to take the city. We are down to our last cavalry, who defeated an elite infantryman in that city. Cumae was also connected by rails to aid the war effort, and the people of Delphi started to riot in protest on the war against Greece. Our Domestic Leader, Cyc, was reported as saying "Give 'em some wines!". Five years later, the Iroquois luanched their massive assualt on Sparta. Amazingly, the Greecian forces held, leaving one elite infantry, and the Iroquois were beaten back. The "Escort Strategy" worked, as the SoD was not there to serve as a backup to the forces. A Roman riflemen, instead of attacking the city of Corinth, attacked a band of Greek archers on the mountainside, and won! The Aztecs are also moving through our lands, with mostly cavalry, towards China. At that time, our scientists found a way to make 'armored horseless carriages'. These new weapons look like huge tin cans with an artillery on the roof, and chained-wheels on the bottom. We also continue the assault on corinth. One infantry dies, but we end up taking the city. Our sights turned to Sparta. We only had enough forces for 2 artillery, and 2 immortals, with an infantry escort. One of the elite immortals attacked, and defeated an infantry! At the end of that year, a city was founded east of Fox Nest. In 1540, our attack on Sparta was launched. A cavalry attacked, but was beaten back and defeated. Undeterred by the minor defeat, an Elite Immortal attacked a weakened (3 HP) Elite Infantryman, and won! The person credited for his amazing battle tactics was Darius, and was promoted to the rank of Great Leader! Darius quickly fled to Fox Nest, where he will be teaching the Immortals there before his next assignment. The Greeks were down to their last city on the continent. (They still have one, their capital, on an island!) Sensing an oppurtunity, our citizens voted to see if Alex would give us Pharsalos, 10 gold, a worker, their world map and territory map. Alex complied with the terms for surrender. The war is over.

Here's the log.
