Should we start the demogame RPG for Term 5?

Desc:

Each citizen gets money by certain jobs. They then can use that money to buy food, housing, move to a differant city, and buy land tiles. The more the citizenn is active the more s/he get's.

Here's the thread:DemoGame RPG

I would also propose starting off small. We don't really know how this is going to work out(meaning if it's going to run smoothly or if it's going to crash and burn) We should start with eyrei's idea with a few add on's from the others.

also my thought. i believe this poll is more like a "should we work this out in detail" poll. i also propose giving a detailed concept of the first step to citizenry for poll after we worked it out.
So voting yes here will not be the final word, just a fingerpoint for us to continue discussion.

It also tells us how many citizens would like this to happen. Then we don't put to much work into it and none of the citizens like it ;)

I don't see why we need to wait for term 5 to start. It will probably need a beta testing stage anyway. I propose we start as soon as we get citizen approvel (assuming we do;) ).

We might want to try a beta test if we get it set up. We can start it during term 4 and if everything works it can be active during term 5.

So you're going to run a parallel universe on top of the Demo game on a small scale. Sounds cool. What will the thread be called that will have all the info?

i have noticed that citizens recieve pay for certain jobs. Does that mean equal pay for everyone or say, will the politicians get more money than lower class citizens? A lower class citizen might only be able to buy a shanty in Oka or something. It might make things a lot more complicated.

You'll have to set land value, population limits, salary do you see thast?

thats what we also noticed. we will start slow and then add things later. the discussion in the above thread (link) is continued, so please also contribute there (but dont be afraid: its a 94 post/day thread from the start ;-) )

the game needs: peace weariness. If a country is at peace and another country does something evil to it (piracy, moving units into its territory repeatedly, using spec ops against it, etc) the citizens can become irritable about not going to war. They could send complaints could say something like, "The rabid aztecs keep coming into our land to steal chickens . You must do something to protect the chickens."
