Mobilization Requirements

This in an informational poll to see when and if we should mobilize when certain conditions are met. The conditions are the nations that could declare war on us. For instance, an Iro.-Chinese allience is far different than an Iro.-India allience. The multiple choice poll will allow you to select with nations, based on their strength, should be at war with us before we mobilize. Another poll will be made to determine the number of nations needed for mobilization. Another poll will be made to determine the number of nations needed in a war against use before we mobilize.

This does not take into consideration the resources each nation has, and who they might trade with. It somewhat takes into consideration the amount of techs and the number of cities that they have.

Normally, I'm against mobilization, but in the event of a declaration of war by BOTH India and Babylon, we should mobilize.
Another circumstance we should consider is the possibility of another domino war. My thought would be if there are more than 4 other nations with which we are at war, we should mobilize.

We have by far the strongest military. We have by far the strongest economy. We have a very strong lead in the tech race. (in fact I think the others have given up and the only time they advance is when we sell them techs.) The only 2 Nations that come close to our military strength are India and Babylon and they both have yet to master flight or mass production. We on the other hand have mech. infantry. Mobilization is a dead issue. There is not now, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be a need for mobilization. The war with Iroquois proves that. We are cutting through them like a warm knife through butter. Being afraid of any Nation or combined group of Nations to the point of Mobilization is a rediculous thought.
Selling the other Nations strategic techs is counter-productive at this point. We have a strong grasp of the financial situation. Selling these techs to the other Nations will only develop these nations to the point of our citizens fearing them enough to consider Mobilization.

Oh, and in your poll, if we choose none, does that mean that we can mobilize if no nations declare war on us?

What I meant by that was "No mobilization".

Ok, then, I voted "None" as well, for the same reasons Cyc pointed out.

As it has been mentioned numerous times, mobilization would cripple our cultural efforts. Furthermore, only in case of Domino Wars would mobilization turn against us, as we would have to make peace with all those nations to return to normalcy.

Also, I've stated the requirements, and barring a constitutional change I believe a council vote decides this, but good idea nonetheless.

Even though the war is drawing to a close, just ignore the Greece option, they're gone.
