Should we plant a spy in England?

This is a poll to determine if the Foreign Affairs Dept. should attempt to plant a spy in England. With a majority "yes" vote, FA will attempt to plant the spy here. With a tie or majority "no" vote, FA will not attempt to plant the spy. If circumstances or sentiment changes, or sufficient time has passed, FA may poll again. The polls will run up to the next Turn Chat on July 20.

FA will attempt to plant spies in the following fashion:
- Gather Approved spy list (greater than 50% support necessary).
- Attempt a single spy plant in one nation with the one attempt coming every 2 turns.
- Order of spy plants will be from the highest support from the polls to the lowest.

May I remind the risks of planting spies:
Target civ declaring war.
Total cost in gold (added up by every spy we plant).
Damaged reputation with the target civ.

Space Ship progress.
Other Espionage missions.

They are a Favoured Nation of ours.
They are a Democracy and are researching Flight and Mass Production.
We share a ROP with them.

Nothing to loose, nothing to gain. The only effect England can have on us is to go to war and pull in it's friends (England itself is no threat). Not really worth the risk is it?

There is no threat here and why risk pissing off the only country to historically not have declared war on us? Voting no.

No. England is our true friend.
And just as good traders as we are! They're also isolated, so having a spy isn't worth it.

England is the only country we have never been at war with. We should do what we can to keep it that way.
