Upon returning to my office, I found this letter, from both Ehecatl Atzin, and Clio:

Madam President.
Ehecatl Atzin wishes you to recieve this letter, since what we are about to do could bring about a diplomatic incident. He also wishes to inform the rest of the citizens of this, asking you to post this letter on your forum. Thank you.

Regards, Clio.

Phoeneticans:

Day 10
We plan to leave this place. One way or another... Clio has been able to contact Gimtesh and the rest of the immortals. We’ll escape tonight after the sun sets. She has the keys to our rooms. I fear for her life, when they discover we are missing she will surely be blamed and most likely killed. I have no choice...she must come with us.
-But Ehecatl... what will I do there, all my life has been dedicated to serve in the palace...my home is here, my people are here...
-But your life isn’t. Your life should be more than this, you deserve to breathe free. Please Clio...they’ll kill you... he’ll kill you.
-He will kill us both if he finds out we have escaped.
-He hasn’t yet...
-But he will? he will search for us, he will hunt us down and kill us both if I go.
-...then let him try! I’m not leaving you here. You’re in too deep, we are in too deep...

Alexander has become more...imbalanced as the days go on. He can be heard going up and down the stone floor corredors mumbling insatiably about the war and his father. Greece has declared war to more nations, Clio has told me, and I believe the day when Greece will be completely conquered is not too far away, Zulu ships can be seen near the shore...
We are treated with dignity; we get food and clothes, warm baths. It’s as if we are on seclution in some foreign spa... ha!

This is the last message I writte. I do not know if I’ll be able to send anything else or what route we’ll take to get back home. If there are romans in the waters they should let us pass. The problem is the iroquoi fleet that may be near the island. Gimtesh feels a strong sprint to the ship and then head as fast as it will take us to CSIM is our best bet. We will see.
I have managed to, um, borrow, yeah, that’s it, borrow some artifacts that our greek populace might like, if not, there’s always the museum. She, Clio, has told me it takes about three days for our messages to get thru... Hopefully we will be in Phoenetica when you recieve this letter. It is dusk, Clio will send this your way and we will soon be on ours.

Ehecatl Atzin
