when should the new game start?

I would like to get a feeling on citizen mood on the topic of when to start the new game.

The Options which i would like to put up are:

immediately:
meaning as soon as the old game stopped and the new options are decided upon and the forum is cleaned
(will nevertheless take a week or so)

1st of september:
we will take a normal election cycle and the first scheduled chat will start the game if we dont decide for a "turn -1" offline (meaning start and immediately save for review).
this would mean that we start the new game (excluding elections) on the 1st of the next month propably.

1st of october:
this would give us one more month to work out things. we will then go for a normal election cycle at the end of september. nevertheless, we could do a "turn -1" or anything not requiring election and actions during september to work out a strategy for the 1st chat

we need more time to work out things!
the option for all wanting even more time than one month

as usual. if you abstain because you think this poll is errorous or misleading or have any complain about it, please state below!

the poll is up for 5 days, which will end on monday so we know the result after this game.

i voted for 1st of october because:
* we need more time to finetune rules
* we need at least 1 week to reorganize the forum, which will give us only 1 week time until election-phase when we start 1st september
* immediate start would lead (again) to ingame changes in the ruleset and maybe even the forum organization

We've already started.

The actual game play should start Sept 1. We have 17 days from now until a complete election process would need to start in order to fill the positions for a Sept 1 start. We have 24 days from now until the actual start of the new game. That's plenty of time to get things organized.

I, too voted for Sept. 1st, as with all the Victory parties and what not, we'll have about two weeks to get all our ducks lined up for the next game. Let's be prepared for the game and happy with our choices.

I voted for Sept. 1st, though then I can't garentee how much time I have to help with the starting play, (why I'm not running for re-election next term, 'cause College will start around then and I haven't a clue how much free time I'll have)

But that aside Sept. 1 makes scence.

Well, General, you'll have plenty of free time until the night before a paper is due or an exam is scheduled.

I prefer not to procrastinate, but that doesn't mean it's not what ussually happened in High School.

Falcon, unless you're taking all GenEds (non-major courses), just a mixure of easy courses, your first 2 semesters aren't going to be too bad. Years 3 and 4 have all the writing. I think all Maryland colleges require one "2nd writing course". That's the killer.

I never thought about how university will affect my gaming, I'm going back next week, I'll still have time to post and everything, just the turn chats, if they're held in the weekdays I most likely won't be able to atend my classes are from 2 to 10 pm, monday to thursday, pacific time (I think it's pacific, -8)

Eh em... anyway, Latin has a reverse grammar, (S-O-V) so just be prepared for that, and you'll be alright.
