Wow :eek:. Great Unit :goodjob:. Now all I need to do do is get my hands on a Scotish UU, City Names, Leaders, and history and I am set to add him to my game :D.
 
Thanks, CivGeneral. I've attached a list of great leaders and cities put together by History Guy to this message as a text file. Civilopedia will be done soon, and the UU may take awhile.

EDIT: Updated cities. 34 downloads before update.

Did I miss a file somewhere? My download did not have the RB_01 and RB_02. Everything works except Bruce appearing on my civ selection screen.

Lamentably I can't use it for my mod as I don't have Scots. :(

what program did you use to make the 3d models?
 
Cobweb, all of the files are there. I made the flics all have the A thru C thing before the numbers so there would be no confusion on what age they went on.

pesoloco, thanks! i used poser for the actual robert, and then converted it to flic using animation shop.

The leaderhead is awesome. Looks better than most of the Firaxis leaderheads. Played thru the first two eras so far without a glich. By the way, what characteristics were you planning on for the Scots? I've got it set to Scientific and Industrious so far.
 
You couldn't be further from what I've got... Militaristic and Religious, and that's from the Scotsman thomas_2001. I'm glad to hear it's working good. I would hate to have to fix something and upload it again :rolleyes:
 
I can't believe you have finished Robert the Bruce, it only seems like the other day that you started him.

I'm downloading him now, can't wait to come up against him in the game. I guess I shall go and start adding the Scottish Civ to my game whilst Robert Downloads.

Your leaderheads definitely outclass the original firaxis ones.

jbearit, that's fine. make them the way you want. it depends on what time in scottish history you want them to be. the scottish people were definately industrious in the indutrial age (that statement sounds kind of obvious, huh?) but I'm not sure if it was actually so much in Scotland, but more in America. Someone said that they should be scientific, too. That's great, they should be! Like they said, their acheivements are only surpassed by the Greeks. But if you ask me, not with Robert the Bruce as the leader!

I loaded up Robert and all the info from History Guy (I changed the UU to Jimmyh's Woad Raider until the Kilted Clansman is ready) and played as the Scots. Very nice! Now I will have to play against the Scots :( just so I can see him looking pensive and angry.

Your leaderhead looks as good as all the Firaxis ones. Keep up the good work!

Have fun! I'm thinking about changing the bonuses to Scientific and Industrious, because the Celts will be Militaristic and Religious in PtW, and Scotland qualifies for both. Hopefully thomas_2001 will magically appear from wherever he is and finish that unit.

I guess it is time for me to add my own nationality to CIV3!

Industrious and Militaristic, would suit us.
 
I just won a conquest game, I have to say that of all the original civ3 leaders I much prefered Robert the Bruce's defeated picture. He really looked like he got his ass whipped out there. But more than that he looked like he went down fighting.

You gotta love the details. :)
