Step asside Montezuma of the Aztecs, Atahualpa of the Incas are comming :D . Great Job Sween32 :goodjob: .I cant wait for him to come out.

Orriginally posted by Sween32
The headdress he is wearing is actually Mayan, but it works for Incas too.

I plan to give the Mayan Plummb Archer to the Incas as its UU ;). This would be a good addition for the people commpaining that the Incas are not included in the PTW Expantion :goodjob:.

Plumed Archer is a good idea for a UU. It'll do.

I updated the preview on the first post.

Hmm. Maybe I can research the Incas for the Civilopedia.

That would be great! This one shouldn't take too long to be released. I just need clothes for ancient and middle ages. The other two will go smooooth like butta'.

whooaa steller, perfect, amazing you are the man that is a really nice animation and you seem to be doing them quick, well quicker than i could and at a much better quality keep up the :goodjob:

I would like to say sween and ghengis farb are the coolest. I love all of gengis's "leadermates" and when ever I have a request they take time to do them,or at least respond. Dont want to threadjack, and I am not glossing anyone, I am just giving respect where it is due! thanks, for robert the bruce, thanks for urbanspawl railroads(ghengis) awsome looking leaderhead, just what I wanted, and thanks again for sharing your awsome work!

Researching the Incas a bit might reveal that a 'Plumed Archer' UU isn't particularly accurate... I believe they had that unit for the Mayans in the AoK expansion. AoK = not a good source of historical data! ;) (same goes for Civ3, in many ways)

AFAIK the Inca soldiers mostly used maces and slings; they were skilled with the latter and famous for it. So perhaps a 'Slinger' UU would be good, replacing the Archer.

hr_oskar, thank you for your input. we know that the plumed archer is a mayan unit but before you posted I had no idea what would make a good UU for them. Now I do. Thank you! You've helped more then you think! ;)

bnmak, well... i try...

I just rendered this, and I must say it kicks Roberts ass! it looks like firaxes made it! maybe at some point i'll go back to robert and see what i did wrong for the ancient times (which looks horrible compared to the other ages). i know it's just the lighting, but i need to get it just right to go with the backround.

the only problem with THIS leaderhead is it looks like the Rock. I hate the Rock.

Thanks, Sween :) I'm always a bit worried people will think I'm being a smart-ass with that sort of input...

The leader-head is great, btw. You're right about the head-dress though, and I think those guys usually wore clothes on their upper bodies - gaudy ponchos of some kind. It's colder up in the mountains, remember ;)

I was going to add one little piece of information: Atahualpa was the last proper emperor of the Incas (kidnapped and executed by Pizarro) and most likely therefore the most famous. Inca history, however, has a much better qualified emperor: Pachacutec, first documented (i.e. real) ruler of the empire. He conquered new lands and brought the Incas into some sort of golden age.

No need to make a different leaderhead pic, of course - we don't know much about how they looked anyway ;) Most important thing is the portrait, then we can each name the guy whatever we think is most correct, or cool, or whatever.

I'm going to add clothes once I find some.

Thank you!

Here's a modern preview

Great sween, I can't wait for Atahualpa! Keep up the great work!

sween ill help you with the civlopedia if you want. The leaderhead is amazing! its just what i want :) You trully are the king of leaderheads!

If anymore help is needed for the Civilopedia, I'm also here. Remember the Inca rebellion of the 1780s as well, with Jose Gabriel Tupac Amaru!!! That was a major event at the time, where the Incan descendents rose up against the Spanish in Peru to regain independence. Had they won that rebellion, the Incas would have been a country again.

SWEEN-- A request. When you do the Industrial Atahualpa, could you put him in the 1780s garb, with the tri-corn hat, and the black wig, etc., to make him look like Tupac Amaru II?

By the way, if you want me to, I'll start looking for leaders and cities.

By the way, Oskar, I wanted to correct a minor innacuracy on your part. Atahaulpa was not the last of the Inca Kings...that was Tupac Amaru I, who was captured and executed at Vilcabamba some twenty or forty years after Atahualpa (I forget when it was). Manco Capac followed Atahualpa as Inca (founded the city of Vilcabamba deep in the jungle as the new Incan capital), then came two of his sons, followed by the famous Titu Cosi, succeeded by the last Inca, Tupac Amaru I. In the 1780s, a descendent, Jose Gabriel, rose up as Tupac Amaru II, but his rebellion was defeated, and he himself was executed and quartered by the Spanish.

Great! I need all the help I can get!

What bonuses should the Incas have? I say Industrious for their roads and buildings, and Scientific for their many innovations.
