This is the home of the nation's greatest province,
The Capital Province of Bohemia!!
I am The Governor, Almightyjosh. I represent all the citizens of our great province in the Senate and elsewhere in our land and government.

Though for the initial stages of our development we will need to focus on the millitary, it is my vision that one day the Province of Bohemia will be a haven for science and the arts as well as a centre for production and finance.

Naming:
The mountain next to our capital will be Mount Victory.

Bohemia Cometh!!
The founding of the city of Bavaria means that the Governor now has a province to govern. Our city is located to the south of a great sea. Although we are not on the coast, there is a small freshwater lake nearby. The mountain that looms above us has optomistically been named Mount Victory and the forests that surround us, the Doughnut Forests.

Debate on Build Queues Rages
There has been a ot of debate on what our province should concentrate on building. Some believe we should build up a millitary quickly, while others want expansion and the founding of other cities. Currently the plan is to esablish a second city in Bohemia before sending out our armies across the continent.

Law, or something like it
The Governor has proposed a new system of Provincial Law. This system would be subordinate to National Law and operate in Bohemia only. The first draft contains guidelines for the establishment of a Capital, Mayors, an Assisstant Governor and a Provincial Council. It is hoped that these guidelines will win support and be implemented to our greater good.

Dead on Arrival? No, DisOrgAnizer (ok, lame joke). Dis has been appointed Lord Mayor of Bavaria. This makes him the first Mayor of our nation and the second member of the soon to be established Provincial Council. Disorganiser has got straight to work gathering information and ideas from the citizens of Bavaria. A discussion on citizen moods has been started.

Be There and Be Square
Fanatika square in the heart of Bavaria has opened and a number of buisnesses have erected huts or stuck a stick in the ground. The foundations of our financial district are firmly in place. A special piece of flint was used to saw through the ribbon in the opening ceremony. The National Bank of Bavaria has also been established for loans and buisness transactions.

Bavaria
Founded on a lake in a lush pine forest, Bavaria is our capital and the home of civilisation. Though it is a mere collection of huts now, there are signs of a greater future to come. Fanatika Square, now nothing but a patch of dirt, yearns for open air markets and towers of marble and gold. The flames of the campfire around which we meet soar up to the heavens and the sharmans sing of great halls of clear stone and gleaming beasts without legs. Bavaria, the cradle of our civilisation and our home.

I officialy apply for the position of mayor in our first city.
I would offer to maintain a city thread with updated pictures and a closeup map of the city.
I would also promise to hold open discussion for all build queues among the citizenry, and never to complain if you deny setting them up ;-)
I also promise to defend our province with all of my faith, and never to do anything which would put the province or the people living there in danger or act against them ;-)

Maybe we even comply to the city-state provincial design, so mayors wont be needed at the start.

I second donsig's nomination. Call it a consolation prize, after he was beat in two elections. He was the governor of Fox Nest, as I recall.

One more thing, Josh, but it might not matter. I'm compiling a list of names that officials want to name their cities. We might not get to you, since your at the bottom of the CoC. However, just so we have it on record, what do you plan on naming your city?

And I second disorganizer's nomination. I'm not sure if I'll accept my nomination. I had wanted to move to the frontier in the first game but ended up being mayor of the capital the whole game. Don't really want to do the same thing this time around. Besides, I want to move south where it's warmer.

I am also willing to be mayor of the capital.

bohemia? what happend to tuscany? good name, anyways, sounds farmilar. just sayin, pardon the explosive noises in the hut on the right. im just experimenting with this odd ore i found in the mountains.

The build queue here is for the 6th, there has been alot of debate about this and this queue contains the best elements of most plans, it is open to discussion. If I might do something novel for a governor and give my reasons...
The two warriors (we have 1 already) will give us flexibility in exploration and defence, especially as the Aztecs are close.
The two settlers will be able to move quickly to fertile lands nearby and secure some vital pasture and spice.
The barracks is to start off the building of an army to go agressive early.
The archer is the start of that strike force (I don't expect we will get to it)

How about a mayor-election for "Bavaria"?
We have some applications in here, and i think a public election would suit the capitol best ;-)

I'd like to remove a settler. If we go wishy-washy trying to both build a civ and build a quick strike force we will lose on both fronts.
