Mine is "Antium" city size 20, as you can see here the city has 235 of production thanks to the IRON WORKS (first time i have a city with iron and coal together) and i can make an ICBM in 3 turns... this isnt my capital, my capital is Rome which is northwest to this city... Rome is the capital and has 146 of production, but Antium is like my "industrial" city.... i also have another city north of rome "Veii" (cannot be seen in this screenshot) that has 110 of production.

it should work this time...

In this SS you can see im getting +884 gold per turn and i have 88.807 of gold, u can see cleary that within the city zone there are iron and coal, i already won the spaceship race and im the superpower here, btw this is the 4th level.... i forgot the name of the level i know its the third hardest.

Wow 3 turns per icbm!! You'll be nuking everyone in no time.

I had a similar city once - 1 iron, 1 coal, IW + Factory + Nuke Plant - and it was surrrounded by several more hills. size 22 only, but lots floodplains and lots mined hills... :D:D:D

ICBM in 2 turns IIRC.... but i didn't really need them - built the spaceship in that town ALONE ;)

Antium could be even better if some of scientists will change professions and become entertainers = WLTKD!

If you have both of them in your city-radius, you can build the Iron Works (Smallwonder) And that wonder increases your production by 50% (I thought, but I have never built it myself)

iron works increases ur production by 150% :king:

hehe nice, i was just about to post my best city thinking it was great.... yet it was only 78 production! No curruption either... Had IW's factory and Hydro (Great wonder Hydro)

took 7 turns for ICBM,s about 1 turn for everything else :)

it only had two hills though and i had set it up for food instead of shields.

Also, i built the Iron works and almost instantly the Iron disapeared.... Does this mean the Iron works stop?

why is there an Asian guy in there? Foreign worker? I once modded a map so that a cattle would produce 10 food 10 shield and 10 gold and I surrounded my captial with cattles and it got pretty crazy...

Iron Works??? What's that ;) ?

I can't believe how many people can build IW in productive cities...never been able to do that, my best city produced about 140 shields, which is not bad anyway but...resources hate me...last game about 8 vanished and never returned. Didn't get any single one from other lands

No, according to the editor, civilopedia, and manual, it actually increases production by 100%.

sometimes i build workers from other civs to add them to my cities..... the workers made by me are used to clean pollution and create railroads ect ect, because my own workers are faster, i know they cost 1 gold per turn but they are faster than the foreign workers.... so again, all foreign workers are added to my cities.
