Congratulations to all those who particpated in the GOTM X.

For those who consider a top position to be some far fetched dream I have come up with 8 alternative awards "The Philibusters".


EDIT: Corrected to remove old table. New table which reflects new published results attached below

Recipients are:
donsig - Lowest Score Defeat
civ_steve - Lowest Score Cultural Victory
Ronald - Lowest Score Diplomatic Victory
Sullla - Lowest Score Space Victory
Powergozer - Lowest Score Domination Victory
John-Paul Cain - Lowest Score Histograph Victory
MSGT John Drew - Lowest Score Conquest Victory
Karch - Highest Score Defeat

Wow - I came second in the lowest Histographics victory category.

Must be worth a medal.

Only problem with your philibuster award.

I actually won my game by Domination :)

Must have been some data-entry error or something (seriously)

I have changed the table to put MSGT John Drew in for the Shield.

Sorry you had to miss out on such a prestiges award :lol:
 
For some reason my new table is not being updated in my original post. The filename is correct I just cannot see the new version:confused:

I think you may have overlooked my entry when tabulating your table: Conquest Defeat - 8100pts.:eek:
 
Trust me to pick the GOTM in which the initial published results needed to be re-released to initiate the alternative awards.

As the new results are now available I need to re-do the tables.
 
These awards are based on the latest GOTM X results:

(Can someone can explain why I cannot see an updated graphics attachment even though it appears to reference the correct filename? I would have preferred not to delete the original)

Phillip_Martin, this is a great idea!! :cooool:

Why don't we ask Matrix to make it an official GOTM feature?
Not that I could make it anyway, I'm just not good enough to reach either end of the rankings... :sad:

Just a bit of fun. We shall see how it goes for a few games. Matrix is currently struggling with the GOTM as it is due to study commitments so I do not want to add to that burden.

Ther is no shame in being a middle ranking player :D

I just had to win my first GOTM with not less than 300 units. :D
