Medieval - Upcoming scenario

Hello to all!
We will start to make an awesome, historical scenario set in the middle ages. The scenario start in ~1200. Its not fixed yet.

First of all we think that the best starting year would be around 1200. That way the scenario will include the mighty Golden Horde too.
We cant setup the diplomatic relations and its very bad in this scenario. As I heard PTW wont include that at all. Still we are trying to make it very good. When the devs will add the ability to set the diplo. relations between the civs, we will upgrade the scenario of course.

We are looking for a map now. Im not sure that what mapsize we want. We are still searching for it. If we wont find a decent map we will make it.

Europe, North Africa and a part of Asia will be on the map. I think the Ural will be the eastern border.

All of the major kingdoms and principalities will be in the scenario. We MUST wait for PTW, because we wanna implent at least 25 playable 'factions'.

All of the Kingdoms/realms etc. will have UUs. Some of them will have quite a lot UUs. All of those will be historically accurate of course.

I will tell you the playable factions very soon. The list is not full yet. I think 1-2 days and me or Gorgoroth will post the list about the playable Kingdoms.

Ok thats all for now. We will upgrade the thread quite often when we have news. Keep in mind that we must wait for PtW, so the scenario wont be ready tomorrow.

YUPP! Im here too. Ast just told me on ICQ that Exsanguination sent him an interesting PM. LOL
Ex he is my old friend and he is living 5 mins away from me. We are oldschool strategy gamers. [Not just civ ]
He is just registered on the boards, because he is making the scenario mainly not me. I will help in a lot things. Example new sounds and stuff like this!

AS far as maps go, Will McGregor did one that is available at http://www.civ3.com/maps.cfm?startimg=1&page=1 that looks like it might meet your needs. It is 200X200

Yupp we saw this map already! Its VERY GOOD!
The only problem that its not enough big on the east and the south. We need a little bigger map with more lands on the east and we need a bigger North Africa too. I think the biggest map size will bhe 256x256 in PTW and it will be perfect. We should use this map and add more lands to the east and use more lands for Nort Africa too. We wanna add at least 2 Empires to the North African part, so we really need more space there too.

I don't know how big it is, but it looks pretty darn BIG!

1. Administrator please unban my first account - Asmodeus.
Im not using Gorgys account, check our IPs if you dont believe me. I just registered on the boards, but Im quite mad about this guy named Exsanguination. I think he reported to the mod that ban my first account, he sent me an idiotic PM about it.
Exsanguination is pissed about my friend Gorg. I know why. My advice is that stop calling the mods for nonsense things. Dont worry we wont bug you about your 'scenario'.

2. Thanks for the map links. I will check them out, but as Gorgy said we need a map with northafrica,europe, and a part of asia.

Don't those maps cover that area? They looked like they did based on the mini-map previews.

Asmo is a DL. We have NO QUESTION about that. He shares the EXACT same IP with mortifer and his e-mail address, although I won't state it here, also leaves to doubt that asmodeus is, in fact, mortifer. Exsanguination was asked by ME to report any suspicious persons in that thread after mortifer and his first DL sardaukar. He is just pissed because he's trying to build a scenario and his thread keeps getting spammed with nonsense.

If you wish to keep this thread/scenario alive, be my guest, but DO NOT, under ANY circumstances go back to ex's thread w/out something informative to post. Leave him alone.

It wasnt a secret that I am Mortifer. Actually not me, its is [was?
] my brother's account.
I made the Asmo account because I thought that Mortifer[my bro] is banned for a week or something like that. We dont wanted to wait, and we decided to dont use that acc. anymore at all.
Gonzo if you can please unban the Asmodeus account and delete all the others. If you want keep up the Mortifer account too for my brother.
I think Mortifers ban is over, because that account was banned a long time ago.
So what we supposed to do? First we decided to use one account only, cuz my bro isnt a big poster at all. Later when we had this scenario idea, we didnt wanted to post under the same account anymore. We are from the same house, using the same net connection. We must report this to the mod or admin before we are making 2 accounts with the same IP? Where is that written down?
I still dont know why our first account was banned, but oh well. Some guys just dont like the facts, and if thats so painful oh God.

Personally, I never wanted to play that scenario at all [I think 95% of the peeps will download Ex's scenario just because the unit gfx], we just checking all threads, and when I see something stupid I must add a reply. Asmo isnt lying. He has a brother, and they are both civ players. BTW my IP is starting with 62.201 too, since my net is on the same provider. Actually 90% of the people are using this Internet provider in this area, because its damn good. The IPs are the same for all people in a specific area. Like around 1 miles away I have other friend whos net is provided by the same company but his IP is different. This is normal with the DSL lines.
Thundefall I think that Mortifer was banned for 1 week right? It must be over for now. Is that bad that 2 people in the same house using 2 accounts here?
Btw the board have 22000 members and I bet that max. 500-1000 are posting no more. How come? You are mad at them for only 2 accounts? Ok they made more now because you are banned all of them.
If its still not clear I tell you that Asmodeus and Mortifer are brothers in the real life. Please give them the chance to use 2 accounts here.

Exactly. Admin or mod, please consider that. We want to use 2 accounts. I not read the forum rules, but I dont think that 2 different guys from the same house must use 1 account. Is this correct? Also I think that my brothers 1 week ban is over too. His second week ban isnt right, because Asmodeus is my account, Mortifer/Sardaukar was his account.
We are on 2 different computers just in the same house and we are using the same IP provider, of course, so our IPs cant be the same at all. You can see that Im sure.

After you read all this stuff, and you hopefully will unban Mortifer and Asmodeus account, please delete the whole thread. I wanna make a new thread for the scenario, because thanks to Exsanguination this thread is quite screwed. Thanks.

It´s a very very very good idea, but if you are using a 256x256 map and so many civs the game will crash unless you have a very very very good computer(and I dont) so please make it a large map and only 16 civs[dance]

Yoda sorry but it wont be enough. The map must be huge, because of the great number of kingdoms/realms.
Right now we dont know one thing. Allow the various kingdoms to make settlers or not. If there is a way to set, that the cities cant be destroyed, we wont use settlers.
We are still dont know that.

Smart asmodeus......admitting your DLs to me in a PM then contradicting yourself in this thread.

The rule is after your main account is given a temp banned, you should not create a new account to bypass the ban. Creating new accounts will only make the ban longer. That's why your Mortifier account is still not unbanned. YOU made the ban longer.
