...In between things
This is not something to get back at everyone who has screwed me. This is to spread the news that we as an RPG society are lunatics. The following is a paper, using my constitution rights, to voice my opinion, and the opinion of those who think that something is messed up here. This is a weekly newspaper, not overpriced like Die Francitizen Zie or whatever. Since it looks as though my paper will never be registered, I am making thios a non-profit paper, getting my point across.Donations woulld be graciously accepted. The below is a sample paper you might get, and is also issue #1. If you have the balls to work as a reporter, we are hiring, and if you have a story and are to scared to let get a slap on the wrist by demogame managment, drop me line, and ill post it in my next issue.

Fanatika RPG run by corporate influence

I am sure we are all familiar with Shaitans corporate expansion. However, has anyone realized that those who hold the most power in the demogame are somehow related to some corporation or another. Stuck_as_a_mac, bank leader. Shaitan, corporate expansionist. There are so many other examples, that soon our society is going to be runned by the dollar. No one is interrested in lower title jobs, seeing as company heads pay there employees dick compared to their shareholders or themselves. Obviously, our jokers in managment are too brain-dead to relaize that everyone wants there own business, and in turn, no one is applying form positions in these corporations. This is worse then Enron, or Worldcom. Hey, you boneheads up there in managment, open your eyes and do something, or else this game ain't gonna be fun.

Moderators, where do they come off

recently, a chap by the name of Hakanfoot was given a slap on the wrist by my good friend eyrei, for "attempting to sell drugs in a public forum". However, I'm not sure you really know if this is a drug or not. The repliers of the thread stated the using the word "high" automatically makes it a drug. See, they don't exactly realize thecontext of which it was spoken. It could give you an emotonal high, or a physical high. I'm sure in this society, we can make-beleive, which makes the game fun. Now, shouldn 't the moderator ask what he means by "high" in the 1st place before shutting it down, or ask that he change the word "high" with a more appropriate word. Maybe it was a drug. Shouldn't he have investigated first before putting black marks on this newcomers reputation.

Do you understand anything these CEO's are saying?

If not, your not alone. Dividend rates, size factors, all of these terms simply do not make sense to us average joes trying to make a buck with these "low level jobs". It seems the average guy is not recognized in the eyes of corporate managment, and instead of resolving these situations, they blurt out nonsense about shareholding and P/E ratios. Please, when you try to address normal people with your uncanny ability to blurt out the biggest word you ever read in a corporate manual, do not expect us to respond, because we're simply too tired to even tell you your full of crap, and that you probably don't know dick about dick.

We're does it say that

It seems of late that moderators, managment, people who don't have any business getting involved, are making up rules that do not exhist in the little RPG rule book that Shaitan typed up in about 10 minutes. I am not against managment making rules, and realise the necessity. But if you haven't made a rule regarding an "offensive" subject, don't close the thread simply because you don't like it. Be reasonable, and most importantly, be fair.

The closing statement-Power to the people

For those like me, who want to avoid being persecuted by the fascist RPG dictators, I suggest forming a democratic superiority group, giving us, the users, more influence over decisions regarding the RPG. Those who had influence in the 1st demogame have alot of power in the current game, meanwhile, people who only just recently registered, are being left behind.
It's the average guys like us who are going to make the differenece, so lets make our voices heard, and have a greater say in decisions regarding our game.

thanks. i think you have some very interesting views to share. keep up the good work!

Diabloinex, please watch your comments about mods. They've banned you before, They'll ban you again. Remember, the forum rules supercede those of the Democracy Game. Unfortunately, our rights of free speech are limited by this.

I realize the need for moderators, and realize that some of them do good jobs, but i'm just saying this person had his thread unjustly closed. Maybe he deserved to have it closed. We don't know. And thats my point. He conducted this investigation poorly, i am telling the truth so that maybe we can fine-tune this. We need justice, and fair preceeding. eyrei and myself have had our share of disagreements in the past, however, there are times were he does do the right thing, however,in these circumstances, he did not.

Diabloinex, although I like your weekly newspaper, I must disagree with you on the quick closing of the "high" thread. Even though footinmouth (or what ever his name was) didn't come right out and say it, he implied the concept of drugs. The "you can get it here" insinuates the selling of such product. Whether this practice is now or has ever been done by the participants of this game is not at issue here. What is at issue is that this forum is a very popoular forum on a world-wide basis. There are many citizens and visitors here that need not be subjected to less than ideal hobbies and habits.

I consider Love as a drug in its all-consuming captivation. A drug I search for. But 1. This drug is not illeagal and 2. is usually not sold. If it is sold, then it can be seen as illeagal. If one would come to this forum and try to sell love, I would consider them on the lower end of the food chain.

So, I think the issue was dealt with properly.

Now on the corporate issue, I tend to agree with you. Only, I have tried to level the playing field with hard work and planning. Just complaining has never gotten me very far in the directions I wanted to go. You are right that the system good use some re-vamping for the little guy. I was a little guy. But you have to take some risks and use your head. Opening your mouth less and listening more never hurt anyone. There is RPG money-making news floating all over this forum. Build your own net to catch these things that will put gold in your pocket. And stay away from drugs. (except LOVE!)

I will offer you 25g for 5 issues.

i disagree, however this is my opinion. We are building a fantasy world, and an ancient remedy for allowing an individual to get high on emotion or something can be possible. No one really knows the context of which he intended to use, as i said. I even implied that it was illecit drugs. He never asked the guy what he meant by "high", nor did he give him the option to edit his post, which is usually why we have thiseature. I think he should have been merciful, seeing as this was his 1st post. He should have asked him to change his wording in X amount of time or I shut
down the thread. In MY OPINION he did not conduct himself in a professional matter. And yes, I will get high this weekend...on love.

Diabloinex,

This is your last warning. If you do not stop with the 'mod whining', you will be banned again. You were justly banned the first time, so get over it. If you would like the forum to be open to threads where people get a virtual 'high', I suggest you talk to Thunderfall. I don't think he will agree with you.

Edit: Moderator Action: On second thought, after reading this little tidbit:

Also, the incident with myself showed exactly how disorganized these people are. My 1st suspension was delayed an extra 2 weeks for this anonymous moderator's lack of clarity and his neglect to show interest. DO YOUR JOB. I don't think you need me to point out your incompetence.

you are banned for 3 days.

Please read the forum rules: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=422889

well some threads just need common snese i mean what would little chidren think if they came surfing here and found out a thread saying that you could buy drugs

[roleplay]I find this offensive, confrontational and criminally slanderous. If you do not immediately issue a retraction I will pursue legal retribution.[/roleplay]

Hey, Shaitan. Put BCLG100's thingy down...

Diablonex:

I would be willing to buy some issues if:

1. You stop using peoples names. If you put they, he, she, this person, that person etc. without actually telling who your talking about will save you some of the complaints ;)

2. Stop complaining about the mods. Try to make this an opionated newspaper. Not a whining newpaper. You'd make alot of money if you do the formor.

If only Diablo knew anything about corporations and what happened at Enron. Also, i found so many grammar mistakes, if i were to start correcting them, i would rewrite your little note. You call this a Newspaper. Geesh, its obvious youll never be in the corporate world. And another thing, the RPG is meant to be ran by the dollar. Thats the whole essence of it. If it starts influenceing the entire game, then okay. But i believe Saam, Shaitan and everyone whos a big RPG player was opposed to the buying and selling of votes. I dont understand why you would want to even get on this website when all you do is #$@! and moan. Honestly.
