Well, there is the Iroquois trade.
They will give us 9 gold and mysticism for the Alphabet.

We've already started researching writing with is thirty some turns away. Plenty of time to sort out what to research next. Cheiftess is now head of trade and she already pointed out after the last chat that we could acquire mysticism & 9 gold for alphabet in a trade with the Iroquois. I doubt anyone would oppose that trade. I certainly endorse the trade. I think Chieftess does as well and since she is trade leader it is well within her authority to set up the deal.
I ask everyone to give the FNSD a chance to get back on its feet after this extremely long election process.

We have met the Iroquois and they do not have iron working, the alphabet, nor the wheel. They do have mysticism though.
The following trades are possible right now:
We give the Iroquois the alphabet and get mysticism and 9 gold.
We give them iron working and get mysticism and 10 gold.
We give then the wheel and 1gpt and get mysticism.
We give them the wheel and 9g and get mysticism.
I realize this is short notice but citizen input is requesting via this poll.

The closest race in demogame history has ended in another very close poll. Strider has won the Science Leader position in the third poll for this position and donsig will become the Science Deputy. Incumbent Strider received 15 votes and challenger donsig received 12. Link to poll.

I like the first poll, Donsig. Not so sure about #2, however I guess I have no real argument with it as long as there's a get out clause for exceptional circumstances. Sometimes the profits to be made from selling a "risky" tech outweigh the dangers...
